We had them install 3 bathroom fans/ventilation as well as a custom built-in kitchen range (our home is from the 1980s and was not installed with the proper ventilation). Emmons Customs did a great job providing accurate quotes, their work was not only efficient but done with the utmost professionalism and care. They kept us informed and part of the process where we could be involved. We were so happy with the results and would highly recommend them!

Dustin and his team were very professional and reliable while managing all the quirks and complications of a whole home renovation, from the studs in. They completed the project on time and within budget, although I have to admit that it was hard for me to get my head around Dustin's invoicing (charging for labour and materials weekly, rather than giving a total estimate). I was given the option to cut costs where possible, which helped my nerves as well as the expense. Dustin's expertise came in very handy when designing the new layout, and problem solving. He was willing to deal with any and all problems that arose, including fixing issues created by other trades. We will use Emmons again for future renovation projects.

We’ve had such great experiences with Dustin and Emmons Custom. We’ve hired him for 4 projects over the span of 3 years. Our first project was a basement and mudroom reno. The second was our mainfloor reno. The third was an addition and deck build. Our most recent and final renovation was our en-suite and guest bathroom upstairs. They communicated clearly what their plans were going to be, worked with my vision, recommended great companies to source materials (tile, tub, etc.), kept us updated on the project status, and were extremely hardworking and friendly. While working on the project, the work areas were kept clean and organized (anyone who has done a reno knows how important this is!). Emmons Custom was glowingly recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. Our project consisted of some minor repairs and plastering, re-carpeting our basement, as well as entirely repainting the interior of our recently purchased home prior to our move-in date. Dustin and his team were very prompt and professional in their communication with us from the start. He was very accommodating given our short timeline (less than two weeks to complete all of the work!), openly discussed the cost of different options available, and worked with us to determine what would be realistic and best suit our needs (e.g., amount of replastering, etc.). After we had initially contracted Dustin to complete the work, we made some additional requests, including completely re-carpeting our basement level; Dustin seamlessly contacted and provided quotes for subcontractors and coordinated their services as part of his team's work on the house. Because we were relocating from another city, we were not able to be present after our first meeting with Dustin but felt completely confident leaving him and his team to work on our home and to make decisions as needed about the work we had requested. He is highly organized and thoughtful in his approach to a project, ensuring all requests - no matter how small - are addressed, and clearly communicating the rationale for different decisions. The project was not only completed on time, but slightly ahead of schedule, with the team going the 'extra mile' to ensure all was as we hoped before moving in, including booking a team to clean the house before we arrived. We could not have been more pleased with our new home! We will definitely be contacting Emmons Custom for all of our future remodeling needs.
