I worked with John to develop a master plan for the renovation and additions to our home. John was fantastic to work with. He took the time to listen, to really get to know us and what we were looking for. He delivered a finished product that we are extremely happy with.

I hired John Riggs as my architect to design my custom dream home. Firstly, he got to know me as a client to ensure my home to be had everything I desired. The view is extraordinary so John truly optimized all the possible views of Sabino Canyon. He considered every angle and every point of view. I wanted my home to be a mixture of modern and traditional, and he hit a home run on that as well. Most importantly, John truly cared about my home as if it was his own. He is a man of his word. He stands by his work and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy 100% satisfied. He is far more than an architect. He is a artist of his craft. He uses computer models when applicable. He trouble shoots issues of all kinds. When I turned to him for advice or help, he always seemed to know what the best way was to proceed. Building a custom home is a complex process of which I knew very little. Without John, I genuinely believe my home would not have been completed. Not only was it completed, it exceeded my expectation in every way I can imagine. As for John's character, he is one of the best men I have every had the fortune to know. If you want to hire the best architect in Arizona, he is your man. His dedication cannot be surpassed, his experience is vast, and his knowledge is impressive. He loves his work and it shows. He is an excellent communicator. He is a even better listener. He will not settle for anything but the best. He will hold contractors or subs to a high standard. As my project manager, he attended to every detail. All of this is easy for him because he truly cares about his client and his projects. John worked on a remodel of a 1978 home for us, moving and removing walls for a more open floor plan. He listened to our preferences and requirements, and responded with a couple of creative options. He was professional, timely and on budget. The overall project budget was $35,000.
