Lightscape Makeover

Navid of Lightscape Makeover knew exactly what our yard needed. Even before seeing it at night! Each light was perfectly placed and we have no over glow at all. All wires are extremely hidden and you wouldn't even know they are hard wired. He was extremely easy to work with and responsive at all hours of the day and night. He also came back to adjust lights as many time as I needed! I would highly highly recommend them!

We hired Lightscape Makeover based on the landscape work that Navid’s sister company performed on our backyard, which was outstanding. We wished for landscape lighting to show off our newly painted home and various landscape features. Navid consulted with us for over 2 hours: listening to our requirements, offering options and ultimately arriving at a detailed plan. One our requirements was to illuminate the entire front of the house; however, a critical portion of the front could not be illuminated from the ground. Navid suggested leveraging a porch roof to place the light. Additionally, Navid creatively suggested that we light not only the front of our home but a side of the our home that was highly visible from a secondary street. This suggestion proved to be magnificent and really moved the final outcome from a 10 (perfect score) to an 11+. Navid clearly communicated the lighting plan to his installation crew. Navid personally reserved the final tinkering of the lights for himself to ensure a perfectly optimized lighting solution He spent over an hour during the dark hours fine tuning various light fixture positions and angles… make no mistake …this is a critical step in the process as Navid demonstrated for me. I like to say he is the Michelangelo of outdoor lighting. His follow up service is awesome also… he replaced a burned out bulb and even shared a few extra bulbs with us at no charge. Additionally, Navid came over to repair a cut wire that was a result of a third party doing some work at our home…. Again at no charge. I highly recommend Navid and his company.

I purchased a new home in Midtown that had terraced front gardens and a fenced urban-sized backyard. Upon moving into the house I brought in a landscaper to design the garden plantings and rear patio area, complete with lighting. After living with the landscaping for two years, I decided to redesign the patio and rear garden area with the intention of moving from a very conventional feel to a more interesting, cozy, and exotic feel. I used Outdoor Makeover for this project with exceptional, but it was the lighting additions from Lighting Makeover that brought magic to the space. Their choices of which architectural features on the house to highlight and plants to be featured along with the overall creative use of varying lights was spot on. The garden areas of my house went from being acceptable to being an asset to the property.
