I hired Pam to do our current Florida home having been very pleased with her work on our previous four homes. Pam's knowledge is extensive and her attitude is professional and friendly. She coordinated all the fabrics, wallpapers, floor coverings as well as the professionals needed for completion. The project was completed on time and budget and we were thrilled with the result. I recommend her highly.

Pamela Hastings has designed three very different houses for me. A cottage on the beach, a town house and a Mediteranean villa, each of which was updated at different times. The furnishings in each house were very different in style and feeling and accomplished the look my husband and I wanted.Guests and visitors to our homes always comment on their style and comfort. Budgets were respected and the work under Pamelas guidance was always acccomplished in a professional manner and in an industry where deadlines are uncertian she always did her best to meet them.

We originally hired Pamela in 2004 to completely renovate the public rooms in our waterfront condo, plus the kitchen, a project that came in at about $200,000. The results were spectacular and have been featured in magazines and one book. She was able to create the look and feeling we wanted our only home to have; she worked well with our two different personalities; and she made the space work beautifully both as a comfortable home and for holding small and large parties. After a hiatus of a few years, we took on the makeover of the private rooms Whether we completely renovated, or custom built to expand and match the existing built-in cabinetry, she improved the functionality and storage of every room to the degree that I do not even miss having a basement anymore. Coming from a lifetime of living "up north", that is really saying something! Every detail was considered and its possibilities were maximized -- you won't even be aware of it until one day you realize how cleverly she has made it all work together. She has managed projects from top to bottom while we have been away, she has included us to a greater degree if we have wanted to be involved. At all times she has been reasonable, kind to all concerned, and had a firm hand with contractors. It is now 2014, and over the past 10 years we have called upon Pamela again and again. We finally finished renovating the last private room in our home a year ago. I just asked her to help me choose some new light fixtures for the master bath and master closet, a very tiny project, which is going to be difficult because the new fixtures will have to cover an unusual footprint. I know she will work tirelessly and that if it can be done, she will find a way because she has the designing skills to do it herself, if it comes to that. You can count of Pamela, that's what it all comes down to. We recommend Pam to our friends without reservation. She is talented and a straight shooter. In my opinion, she is one of the best in the business. I have never regretted hiring her. Not once.

I have seen Pamela Hastings work in various locations in Sarasota County, and I have always admired it. So, when my husband and I contracted a new home with Taylor Morrison, I contacted her. Pamela was instrumental in helping me choose nearly everything in our new home--from the floors, to the cabinets, lightening, and so forth. She is a total professional with impeccable taste.
