Jeff built us a new privacy fence/gate to replace the existing original one from 1950. Not only was his work top-notch, it was also completed in a timely manner, with lots of communication and valuable design recommendations from Jeff during the process. He is as detail-oriented as they come, and performs the work himself. An excellent communicator, Jeff also made sure the final result met or exceeded our expectations. While onsite, he performed many other small jobs we had been putting off (paintwork, masonry work). He is in high demand, and for good reason. It's not often you encounter someone so capable, creative, and trustworthy. Jeff was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and we will be calling him for all of our future projects.

Jeff always does impeccable work. If a problem arises, as usually happens in older homes, he always finds a solution that corrects the problem with as little fuss as possible. He has a great eye for design and his input is always welcome, and is usually used! This time, Jeff did a fireplace makeover for us, and the results are fantastic. If I had known it would look this good, I would have done it sooner! Great job, Jeff (and Simon) And as a further note, he is by far, the neatest contractor I have come across. Very conscientious about leaving as little behind as possible. Thanks, Jeff!

We have hired Jeff for two renovations: a back deck/sunroom fix-up and kitchen renovation. We really like how Jeff is on-site, doing the work himself (with Simon), and really cares that things are done right. He does the little things, that you don't see or even ask for (like adding fireproofing insulation in vertical buklheads), so he sleeps well, knowing your house is safe. From our other experiences, we know many contractor's don't bother about what you can't see! The final product is also stunning (see pictures of Glebe kitchen), amazing herringbone tile floor, great idea to coffer ceiling around beams for architectural effect, light and bright room with tons of storage. Thanks Jeff - we now live in our kitchen! Will definitely use Allingham Renovations again.

We have completed a number of renovation projects with Jeff Allingham, most recently a whole house overhaul of our 100+ year old 3 storey home, including a new kitchen and updated bathrooms. Jeff worked within our budget to plan and execute beautiful and functional spaces with meticulous attention to detail. Throughout the project he identified and corrected the hidden issues which were revealed in renovating an old home to ensure our home was also safe and efficient. He provided timely cost updates when issues arose so we could assess the impact on the project budget. Jeff takes time to answer questions and go over details throughout the project. He and his staff are courteous and always pleasant to work with.

I hired Allingham Renovations to remodel a basement bathroom because of the excellent work they did on my kitchen renovation a few years ago. They provide sound advice on structural and design questions, source products and provide skilled workmanship. my kitchen and bathroom were completed on time and on budget. FAlways left work site tidy and cleaned the area on completion.Friendly, professional service. Highly recommended

We engaged Allinghan Renovations to gut and redo our basement including the design and installation of a new bathroom as well as undertake a significant kitchen reno. Was very impressed: extremely personable, responsive service with a price quote that was fully accurate and price competitive. The service was one-stop-shop from crade-to-grave with good designs, bringing in other professionals (e.g. electrical work and plumbing). We were very pleased with the final results in terms of quality and willingness to make adjustments as we went. Would highly recommend.
