We wanted to stain our hardwood floors a different color before we moved into our home as the current color was outdated. The floors were worn, stained, and had not been refinished in a long time. There were also some repairs. They had to replace water damaged areas from a leak and repair a few cracked wood boards. Wood Vitalize went over several options and provided us with a detailed quote for restoring or completely redoing our floors. After review several estimates, we hired them to refinish our wood floors. We are very happy that we chose to go with their service. Our floors came out great. They were very clean throughout the sanding process and very professional.

Wood Vitalize + Adam did a spectacular job on our floors. We contacted 4-5 other flooring pros and they all told us what we were looking to do wasn't possible. Most others told us we had to redo our entire apartment flooring. We bought an NYC apartment that had dark manufactured bamboo flooring, and Adam/team managed to sand it down to a natural bamboo color and put two clear matte layers of polyurethane on top. They worked exactly according to the timeline they provided and they did not upcharge or deviate from the the initial quote they provided. We love our floors!

When I purchased my apartment, I was dismayed to find that the seller's real estate agent had managed to hide some fairly significant discolorations to the hardwood floor in the dining area, and that his movers managed to put some deep gashes in my hardwood floor when moving his staging furniture out. I reached out to a number of flooring companies, and right away I could tell that I liked the owner of this company, both in terms of his personality and the prices he was quoting. He kindly came out to inspect the unit, and gave a very fair assessment of what would need to be done. Unlike some of the other people I had talked to, who immediately tried to upsell me, Adam was very patient and understood that I had price constraints. He worked with me to figure out what would look best in the apartment, what would make me happy, and what would still fall within a reasonable price range. Adam has a lot of experience in this field, and has seen so many different apartments, that he is really able to tell what might work best in your space. I want to say that I could not be more pleased with the results. Adam's price was far more reasonable than others had quoted, and the floors look like they cost a fortune! As an added bonus, I want to mention that he is an honest and kind person, and treats his crew kindly as well. It was obvious the people who work for him are very happy, and they were honestly so polite and such gentleman! The did a great job in our daughter's room. The floor was completely lifeless after years of less-than-gentle treatment by our little girl. They did their Sandless Process on the floor - complete with removing the furniture and putting it back - in one day. We left them there to do the work while we were out and at the end of the day we were pleasantly surprised! They started on time and kept us informed throughout the process, which we loved.
