The colorful pattern is not painted, rather, it is mineral-pigmented cement. Cement tile is extremely durable and good for most indoor and outdoor locations - both residential and commercial. MeaLu Collection cement tiles from Rustico Tile and Stone come unsealed. It's recommended that cement tile be sealed, coated, waxed or polished for finished protection. Cement tile is easy to clean and non-abrasive cleaners are recommended. Avoid harsh chemicals. Cement Tile is a rustic-handmade tile. It is eco-friendly. Typical characteristics to be expected include: slight variation in size and thickness, color variation, small chips, and some color-bleed in the design.
