This plant drapes beautifully, with very long and slender foliage that looks grasslike and graceful. Each blade is actually an extremely thin paddle shape. The foliage can be trained to trail along structures such as curtain rods and shelves, or it can cascade over a plant pot. While other Hoyas have clusters of waxy, porcelain-like flowers, this plant shows them off individually... small and creamy white, with just a touch of maroon in the centers, falling here and there amid the flurry of foliage. Flowers have a faintly citrus scent, adding to the ethereal quality of this plant.

Care: This plant is incredibly self-sufficient. While it can be placed near windows, even draping down curtain-style, it will not do well without some shading. It likes bright indirect light, with anything brighter causing foliage to dry, brown, and/or curl. But take caution if you do see some brown foliage on a stem or two. Rather than clip, wait to see if new growth appears. Feed every other week with a diluted liquid fertilizer during summer. And keep this plant somewhat root-bound.
