MacMaster Design Lamps

One of the founding designs of the MacMaster range, the Iris floor light consists of curved laminations of timber that echo the shape of Iris leaves to create a sculptural, unique and impacting form. The arrangement of leaves give the lamp a structured yet organic form that allows light to graduate upwards on the interior of the lamp. An energy saving light bulb is utilized for a warm ambient light that casts subtle shadows onto adjacent walls, thereby extending the visual depth of the design. This floor light takes inspiration from the natural balance and elegant proportions that are found in the form of the Tulip Bud. It borrows inspiration from leaf profile of the Cocoon range, which intersect their opposite leaf as a mirror image adding visually stunning contrasts at every angle of vision.
