Chuck Black 'The Wild Frontier' Canvas Art, 24"x18"by Trademark Fine Art
Growing up along the countryside of Minnesota and Wisconsin provided me with a passion for the outdoors ever since I can remember. What I remember most is I was always trying to capture my time spent outside on paper. I've always loved to draw, but somewhere in my heart I knew that wildlife was what I really wanted to do. I received my bachelors degree in wildlife biology from the University of North Dakota. I worked for six years as a wildlife professional for Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the Minnesota DNR.

Mike Jones Photo 'Rt 66 Fun Run' Canvas Art, 24x18by Trademark Fine Art(1)
Mike's love of photography started at age 10 when his father taught him how to use his old Pentax SLR camera. By the time he graduated high school, he had also graduated from his 35mm Pentax, to an old 4x5 Graflex camera. From the beginning, landscapes were his true passion. During Summer vacations in Maine, Mike would choose to climb around the rocky shore with a camera and tripod instead of shopping with his family in downtown Bar Harbor. He soon landed a job shooting photos for a local newspaper where he continued to work while studying photography in college.

"Gobbler Run" by John Morrow, Canvas Art, 24"x18"by Trademark Fine Art
I can not remember a time when I wasnt sure art would be the focus of my life. It is amazing to me that artists can communicate to the world in the universal language of color, shape, value and line, its like magic. Regardless of style, media, technique or subject, the process is the same, a transfer of emotion from artist to viewer.

Bill Makinson 'Grazing' Canvas Art, 24"x18"by Trademark Fine Art
Although I had no formal training, it was obvious at school that I had a gift for art and crafts. I was happy doing bookbinding with artistic gold leaf lettering embossed on the cover and spine, but I was thrilled when it was the art lesson and always attempted more adventurous subjects. Drawing on location at a local farm was always a memorable time. Music and sport were other subjects that I excelled. Woodwork was a particularly favourite subject that I was skilled at, and making furniture was something I would have like to have done on leaving school. But things don_t always work according to plan and I suppose I am lucky just how things have turned out.

Marion Rose 'Prowler' Canvas Art, 24 x 18by Trademark Fine Art(2)
Most days, one would find Marion Rose putting on her favorite music or playing an old video before settling in to paint for the day in her spacious studio, especially once the winter chill set in. Her work is influenced by past masters such as Joaquin Sorolla, Tom Thomson, Carl Rungius, Bob Kuhn, and many others that work today in a variety of subject and media. She also studied printmaking, life painting and drawing in college in her 30's. Her subjects come from her life of traveling enthusiastically as often as she could, both close to home or across the ocean. Sketching and studying animals were a favorite pastime, setting an excellent foundation for creating authentic work.
