Since the age of five, Serena Bowman has dreamed of living in Ireland and being an artist. During her childhood in New York city art offered a quiet activity in her noisy surroundings. Following what she thought would be a typical artist's path, she earned degrees in engineering from the University of Tennessee and had a successful career in manufacturing consumer goods.
With the birth of her triplets, Serena decided that she should set an example for her children and follow her dreams. She left the manufacturing world and picked up a paintbrush for the first time in years, never to put it down again. She currently lives in Tennessee with her husband, kids, dog, cats, and several goldfish. She still plans to live in Ireland...someday.
