Madeleine is by far one of the most advanced designers and architects in our region. When I first started working with Madeleine, I was in awe of her design work, as I still am today. Every thing she does reflects her trending values and sensitivity to our regional culture. She does this while still maintaining a her strong yet delicate urbanesque je ne sais quoi. Ms. Boos is a show stopper.

We hired Madeleine Boos to do a total remodel design of our kitchen, living room, dining room and entry, down to the studs. It was a challenging project involving exterior structural modifications to support four new huge picture windows as well as re-locating the kitchen to take advantage of the newly created view. Despite its complexity, everything came together perfectly and on budget. Madeleine worked with us during the entire journey from initial design, through selecting a general contractor, picking out materials and furnishings, and helping us overcome problems as they arose during construction. Madeleine was outstanding to work with - always reliable, always pleasant, and always providing good ideas and great solutions.

Madeleine is the consummate professional--very involved in the job from start to finish. She always presents as your ally with contractors, vendors, etc. and does so in a very non-confrontational way. She is a pleasure to work with. I'm just finishing my kitchen after working with Madeleine on my bathrooms. The results are awesome. She knows where to put the money and where to put the details that spell "special". She designed an island for me using three materials including rolled steel that is the centerpiece of my kitchen and my great room. She is so diplomatic as she works with the subcontractors and with me. We have one more project and I'm looking forward to working with Madeleine on it in the spring. I know I will love the results and the process because she makes it her job to smooth out the rough spots.

Madeleine designed and oversaw the remodeling of three bathrooms in our home, including the master bath. She was patient with us, listens well, and has a clean and sophisticated aesthetic. We are very happy with the end results, esp. the master which is beautiful. We hope to work with Madeleine to remodel our kitchen!

Madeleine Boos redesigned the bathroom of our Michigan cottage that was built in the 20"s. It was quite a feat but she did a wonderful job. She used a portion of an existing closet to make the room bigger, chose a beautiful tile floor, used bead board on the lower walls, and selected all the fixtures. The old tub and shower were replaced with a nice sized shower. The -construction went very well and needless to say our bathroom is the best room in the house!

Madeleine provided start to finish assistance in the remodeling of my Lake Shore Drive home in Chicago. This included the preparation of architectural drawings, assistance in General Contractor bids and specifying the differences in each; as well as the selection of stone, paint, flooring, lighting and even furniture. The entire process was a pleasure. The entire prroject was completed within the time frame promised (following her General Contractor advice helped). Her recommendations were excellent and the home turned out beyond expectations. So much so, that Chicago Home magazine published an 8 page photo spread of the finished residence. I would use her again on any future project..
