Gild Renovation

Phil was great. We were trying to accomplish a certain set of goals in renovating our apartment (in a Manhattan co-op) while not expanding the project significantly, and Phil produced exactly the results we were hoping for within the timeframe we were trying to meet. Phil was also very attentive to design and details. Perhaps most impressively, Phil was always accessible, and he never, ever got riled up -- when we were worried about something, Phil helped calm us down both by his demeanor and by his results. Phil's crew was also pleasant, trustworthy, and professional. We had heard many horror stories about GCs, but our experience with Phil and his crew was the opposite. It was a pleasure working with them, and I would gladly recommend them to others.

Phil is unique as a GC in many ways. He has a fantastic eye for design and details, and maintains the highest standard in his work. If a detail comes out awkwardly or does not look quite right, he and his crew always do their best to fix it and make sure the end product is A+++. Phil is also unique in how communicative and how responsive he is. We were always able to get in touch with Phil throughout our project and he kept us informed and updated at all times.

We have asked Phil and his team to take on renovating our newly purchased apartment in Manhattan NY. From our first meeting with Phil, we knew he was the guy to hire. He is easy going, knowledgeable about the renovation process, and reasonably priced. Phil Ammirato at Gild Renovations was a pleasure to work with when we did a gut renovation on our apartment. We lived in another state when we did our renovations and I found him to be reliable, honest and responsive to my requests and questions. We scheduled meetings with my architect to review the progress and evaluate what needs to be done going forward. Since the renovation ended, Phil's employee has returned to fix damages in my bathroom from water leaking from the apartment above. I can highly recommend him.
