“Working with Jimmy Crisp and his associates was a great and valuable learning experience that could not have turned out better than it did. Jimmy truly met, and in many instances, went beyond our expectations. The project, which was a complete gut renovation, went very smoothly and it did come in on budget with the exception of new items that were included after our original quote. Of course there were differences of opinions and long discussions about changes/desired outcomes and new costs, however, I would say that because of Jimmy's constant presence at the site, complete knowledge of exactly what was suppose to happen at all stages of the project and calm manner we escaped situations that could, at the time, have been less satisfactory. Jimmy, the associates and clerical employees of his firm are all a 10 in my book! My experience with Crisp Architects makes me believe that anyone seeking a great architect, backed by a most professional staff, could not do better than to choose Crisp Architects.”

“We were extremely pleased with Joana's service. Her knowledge, creativity, and most of all patience was hugely helpful as we planned and designed our home addition/remodeling project. Joana was able to provide her help from the conceptualization of our project through to the negotiation with our contractors which was invaluable given our inexperience with this type of project. Her assistance and persistence in liaising with the contractors alone was worth every penny! It was a pleasure to work with Joana, even our 3 year old looked forward to her visits to talk through her ideas, the plans. I would say that Joana's biggest strengths are her professionalism, detail oriented nature, patience, and creativity. “We have used Julia Metcalf Architecture and Interior Design for two different projects - an office renovation and a large scale home remodel. Both projects had major architectural and interior design elements. Julia was very easy to work with, and we found her communication skills, both with us and with our contractor, to be exceptional. Everything was very clear and concise. She really understood our design aesthetic, and how to work that into both our home and our office. She was respectful and appreciative of our suggestions, and very conscientious of our budget. Julia has great suggestions on where to splurge and where you can save some money in different areas of each project. In our commercial project, she was extremely knowledgable and meticulous about meeting all various ADA and IBC codes. We strongly recommend Julia Metcalf Architecture and Interior Design, and are thankful to her for helping us create the amazing spaces in which we work and live.”

“I hired Madeleine based on recommendations from several friends, and I am extremely happy I did!! I will definitely use her again. She has great taste, is a good listener, helped me with everything from the big picture to the small details. Her site reports are highly organized, detailed and timely, and proved to be very useful in documenting exactly what was communicated to and by the contractor and when. She was a fair and effective mediator between us and the contractor, was vigilant in ensuring the project continued to progress, and kept it within budget. I can not imagine doing this, or any, project without her!”
