Charles is a very patient and approachable professional. He doesn’t laugh at silly suggestions you make and he offers alternatives to what you appear to be trying to do. He is accessible, always returns calls and emails and he explains his plans is a way a novice can understand. He is also affordable. A great guy to work with. I’m glad I was referred to him.

Charlie Ash designed two homes for me. They both were challenging architecturally. The first project was an addition to a house and a guest house. The addition was seamless, and the guest house charming. The second project required Charlie to design a home on a sloping piece of land from photos of the land without a topo in Mexico. He saw the project after the walls and roof were in place. The home is a jewel. Five years later, after 100 more homes have been built, some with formidable architects, Charlie's design and sense of style and proportion stands heads above the rest. Joanie C.
