Architects Laoura Contari and Ivonne Ibarra enjoy an association of many years, beginning as graduates from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. They share a passion for European design, love of classical and modern architectural detailing, and merging different styles into a bold and personal aesthetic. Contari-Ibarra Design is about intention, carefully listening to their client’s needs, understanding the nuances of each project, and producing a finished result that exceeds expectations. Laoura and Ivonne enjoy a collaboration of twenty plus years in creating elegant and thoughtful homes for their clients in New York, Athens, and recently, Santa Barbara, CA.
