Hills Design helped us fix some structural problems with our house. The previous owners had removed some french doors and supporting walls between the living room and dining room. This left the room looking bigger but the ceiling between the two rooms was sagging under the weight coming down from the roof. Hills Designs helped us plan the project to repair the structural problems and improved upon the joining of the living room and dining room into a single larger living space. Support jacks were brought in to hold up the ceiling in both rooms while a brand new beam was brought into provide the necessary support between the two rooms. As part of the project, the artifacts of the french door supports were removed completely giving the entire space a much more finished and classy look. The project stayed within the expected budget and time frame and the room looks really great now. We got lots of compliments from friends. We would definitely recommend Hills Designs!
