Janie Boyl Studio

Janie has been incredibly helpful in getting my remodeling project from thoughts and ideas to concrete plans as well as keeping me thoughtful about my budget realities. She has been a key partner as I've gone through the interviewing process of GC's from a position of knowledge and speaking what I call 'construction language'. It's been a valuable process (one which I've not done in past remodeling projects) and I truly think it's been money well spent. Especially in terms of clearly defining the scope of the project and helping me to define my priorities even before the demolition process begins. This is the biggest remodel project I've undertaken (I'm a layperson, not a professional flipper or such) involving a complete basement remodel to create a one-bedroom apartment plus redesigning bedroom + bath remodel on the back half of my little 1000 sq ft ranch. I'm excited about her design changes and can't wait to see them completed!

I have worked with Janie on numerous different projects, from kitchen and bath remodels to full home designs, and I've been thoroughly impressed with her creativity, her spot-on sense of style, her keen eye for details, and her all-around professionalism. I always enjoy working with Janie.
