Brett designed our Montana dream home project. He is very creative and a great listener. He is insightful and gifted in his work. Not only did he deliver the home of our dreams, but did so on point and in budget! We highly recommend Brett and would not hesitate for a second to use him again. Brett designed an outstanding single-story mountain contemporary home for us on a very unusual property that previous owners described as “unbuildable”. He stayed within budget and helped us through an extremely challenging design-review process. Now the home is under construction and will give us 270 degree views of several mountain ranges as well as the Gallatin Valley. It is going to be a fantastic home! Brett was very easy to work with and we would highly recommend him to others.

We have worked with Brett on multiple projects now, including 2 home renovations, turning a facility into a daycare, and an office renovation project. Brett has always been extremely professional and has completed the work on time. He has a particular gift for understanding and using the nuances of the local codes to ensure the project meets our needs, but also is able to pass through the city review without the need for exceptions to be made. Brett has amazing insight and is knowable of the city planning and building department "querks" .He knows how to navigate through the continual maze. He is up front and bold and to the point, no surprises here. Brett is both artistic and mathematical in his thought process deffintly, a talent when it come to designing a project.

He listens to what his client is looking for and designs a project based on the clients’ needs, not something that is “cookie-cutter”. My partners and I hired Brett Potter to design a Mellow Mushroom pizza on Main Street in Bozeman, Montana. Unfortunately, the corporate team at Mellow Mushroom did not approve of our location/business model extremely late in the game, which was both disappointing and frustrating. An entirely different story/review.... HOWEVER, Brett was by far the best person we could have hired for the job. He is passionate about his projects, works with you directly, and his process is smart and it just works. Additionally, his rates are very reasonable and he even did a couple of things for us pro bono that we even offered to pay him for. All around Brett is a talented architect, an extremely hard worker, and in general a great guy to work with. Would recommend to anyone doing any sort of project that could even remotely require an architect. You the man Brett and I hope we can work together in the future on another project.
