“I contracted Sidney to paint a very large mural in my foyer. The mural was of a welsh castle, set in the time (from another painting in the 1500's). It was quite a large undertaking and Sidney did such a great job, I then contracted him to paint various murals in my master bathroom, turning that area into a "roman bath' type atmosphere. She restored & painted several smaller pieces for my living room, one a table that belonged to my grandmother. What I considered the "big project," a dining room table & chairs that my husband & I bought almost 50 years ago & had been through our 3 children without any dings ,to each of them at different times when they were grown, many, many dings, scratches, gouges,etc,. before coming home to us. Kept in storage until I decided what to do. Kathy refinished/painted the table & chairs & reupholstered them. What a dream this set is! I was beyond words when I saw it. I gave Kathy an old, faded photograph, about 3"x3" of my grandmother & asked her to paint a portrait of her for a Christmas gift for my mother.
