Clay And Steel

I work professionally with many clients in the Bay Area doing custom architectural and sculptural work. I work in iron, steel, stainless steel, bronze, brass and aluminium. I also work as faculty at The Crucible, teaching youth and adults the art of blacksmithing: shaping steel with a hammer and heat. I am available for: sculptures, furniture, railings, frames, gates, shelving and almost anything else you can imagine in metal. I love commissioned work. For me it’s a collaboration between myself and the owner. I love the boundaries of style, era, and space that are inevitable in a site specific project. I love matching my vision as an artist to the home and to the owner. It’s a very challenging and rewarding process that drives me to continue to learn and push the boundaries of my abilities.
