I highly advise not using this company! Is customer service and doing your job correctly a thing anymore these days? Evidently not... First, I received my first invoice dated 6 months in the past. When I asked for it to be corrected. I was told it would take two weeks. Why does it take two weeks to change a date? The final measurement guy texted me at 8pm at night, and told me he would be at my home the next day. Nobody told me a date for final measurements and it's 8 o'clock at night the day before... They delayed my install a week because of Covid... sure.... Then the day before install I was told that they had messed up my countertops. Instead of a shiny polished countertop, I was getting a dulled countertop. They gave me 20% off, but it should have been more. When I told the front desk guy I would do the deal. He told the owner. The owner ended up walking by me multiple times while I was in the office, and didn't bother apologizing at all for messing up my order. Upon install, my bathroom piece had been cut into two pieces. Which, again, I was not told about. If I could get the old piece out in one piece. Why can't a professional do the same upon install? The installers had to do a large shim on one of the main pieces for my kitchen sink because of old plumbing. I had to wait until the following day, and I think they used scrap that they found in their lot.. It could have been nicer. The installers didn't clean up after themselves either. It took a month and a half for install. One of the worst experiences I've had with a business. I wanted to give my money to a local company, and I really regret that I did. I should have bailed out in the beginning.... If you want excellent customer service and want to work with a company that cares about you and your order. Do not use this company.

Jose Salazar and Hands of Stone are fabulous. They gave us a very competitive price, had their folks come out and made a template of our old countertops, gave us an install date, arrived on time and were very professional. Cleaned up after the install and it looked great. I found 1 small flaw in the granite and they sent a very professional team out, took the time to fix it right and I am 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend them!

Jose and his staff do a fabulous job. We have had our home for just over a year now and all our countertops are as beautiful as the day they were installed. Jose takes great pride in his work and will answer any questions you have. Very patient and knowledgeable. Thank you for a job well done.

Just moved to Grand Junction and doing a kitchen and bath remodel. Needed granite. Saw Hands of Stone sign and decided to just stop in and see what they had. Jose was most friendly and helpful. After looking at his granite slabs and talking to him we decided to go with the small, independent guy. Best decision ever. Great price, very professional, install was great and they even delivered before the date we were told it would be done. Great experience and would use them again.

Nearly a year ago I embarked on a mission to build my own home, acting as the GC with limited or no prior set of sub-contractors to help complete the task. I can’t count the number of times that I called, texted, or stopped by your office to bounce a question off you and your team, each time you and your team replied in a very timely fashion and most importantly made me feel like family and always got me moving in the right direction. The overall project had challenges as any house building project has, unlike other Subs Mr. Salazar stood by his product and addressed any issues that raised. We chose HOS after meting with the owner, Jose, because we felt really comfortable with his demeanor. He was confident, didn't push us on anything, and allowed us to ask questions without leaving out details. The employee who came to create the template was extremely nice. He showed me what he was doing, and asked small detail questions, like how far I wanted counters to come out, and how I wanted him to work with a door frame. When time came for installment, we felt comfortable enough to leave our front door unlocked, our dog home and go to work. They did the job quickly! And they cleaned up very well, and took care not to let the dog out while they were bringing items into the house. We are very pleased with the whole process, and highly recommend HOS to others.

Professional, proficient, and personable. Jose completed my granite kitchen counters in a timely manner with no hidden fees. The countertops look great! I had received several quotes, Jose was not the cheapest however I am grateful I spent a little extra for his experience and quality. I would recommend to anyone.
