“Everyone from the owner, the guy who comes out to quote, and the guys who came to work on our complicated roof deck were a pleasure to deal with. They were not the highest quote, or the lowest, and the bill was exactly what we were expecting. This transparency was critical to staying on budget, especially when our project demo uncovered some unexpected damage that we had to repair. Highly recommended.”

“I could not have asked for more from a company -- the salesman explained everything about an awning -- and made some great suggestions (and they weren't necessary the most expensive ones!) The installers came right on time -- finished the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I have had my awning for about 8 months now and it is amazing how much cooler it keeps my deck and my home. They are the real deal!”

“Hi, Just wanted to give Mark a review. I had him make me a Pergola for over my hot tub and a enclosure for my metres in the back of my yard. He was a very well mannerd and listens well to my requests. He helped me understand the design and emailed me pictures on Pergolas so I could choose the one I wanted. He was spot on with the time frame that he said it would take, I found that his workmanship is of higher standard and I am very happy with it. Mark gave me a fair price I think and isn't one to charge more for what he is doing. He just gives you the fair price for the job that is comparable in his industry. “By hiring Ralph Zamoyski, we received the complete package: not only is Ralph an experienced and excellent contractor who can demolish, dry wall, set tiles, paint, etc., he is also a designer with a keen eye for colour and style. His years of experience on numerous projects made him anticipate, avoid and solve possible problems. Besides his own considerable skills, he can plan and arrange his talented electrical and plumbing long-time associates to help complete other technical tasks. Because of his experience and artistic sense, Ralph was able to help us wisely narrow down the overwhelming amount of choices while always leaving the ultimate decisions about colours, materials and fixtures up to us. The final result was a complete transformation of our two dated, small bathrooms into modern, stylish and elegant places that we can be proud of. Consequently, we readily hired Ralph to rebuild our backyard fence and to build us new gates with excellent end results. Then, this last February, we had Ralph remove our master bedroom's dated wallpaper, prepare the walls and paint them with a great colour that he helped us pick. It was yet another transformation of a dated room that he helped us create! And this spring we are gladly hiring Ralph to expand and rebuild our backyard deck with new low maintenance materials. “These guys were good to deal with from the first meeting and getting a quote to letting us know when they would do the work. They tore down our rotting deck and took it away. They replaced it with a new deck and a nice vinyl covering that they got from BC, and we liked that we were also helping another Canadian company. We enjoyed having them around to do this work for us, and it's nice to have a good deck since we're home more now because of COVID.”

“We have worked with MountainView over the last 8 years as our primary supplier for decking, fencing, composite and railing. The team at the store has always been professional and extremely helpful . The yard crew and delivery drivers make sure your order is correct and that you are on your way as soon as possible. Products are always top-notch in quality, and delivery is always on time (Even when we forget to order until the last minute). We send a lot of our clients to the store to take a look at materials and decide on colours and options. Vanessa, Joel, Shane, Karen, Rick and the rest of the sales team are always extremely helpful for any client we send their way”

“We bought a house and took possession just about 2 weeks ago, it came without a deck as the previous owners had torn it down due to rot. We absolutely needed a deck because the back door is too high to not have a deck to step onto. Deckrative Designs came out and built us a brand new deck in under 5 days. They were at our place the day after we took possession and finished it in under a week. We are so pleased. They were very nice guys, easy to work with and kept the work site clean/tidy. We love the deck, it looks so high quality and really suits the house.”

When we were going through the ideas and design phase for our new deck, Dan spent an inordinate amount of time with us discussing options and providing advice. He thought of so many things we didn't. His practical advice was so appreciated and absolutely beneficial as our deck is now complete and it is not only absolutely gorgeous, but also completely functional. Dan's team is very professional, considerate and talented. Dan is communicative, available and on schedule. His pricing is also totally competitive as we received another quote and it was completely in line with Dan's, but minus the incredible customer service. It was a no brainer for us to go with Dan.
