“I have known Martin in a professional capacity since 2001. We initially worked as colleagues at two different mid-size architectural firms over a 2 year period. Martin first came to my attention as a highly skilled Drafting Consultant who was working on some of the more complex projects in the firm. When I moved on to a different company and was asked to recruit new talent, the first person I thought of was Martin. Martin eventually came on board at the new firm and carried a significant project load from day one, allowing his new employer the luxury and financial windfall of billing out a very large and complex luxury multi-family housing project with a modicum of actual manpower. After I founded my own firm, I again recruited Martin when I needed help to complete my own multi-family housing project on a very tight timeline. I gave Martin one of the most challenging technical tasks, that of cutting wall and building sections through this five story building. Martin rose to the challenge and delivered accurate, technically sound work on time and on budget. I knew from past experience that I could count on Martin and he did not let me down. It has been wonderful watching Martin grow his architecture firm into a highly-sought after practice. Martin's attention to detail and craftsmanship shows in all of his projects. His background as a Danish carpenter with many years of architectural practice gives Martin a unique design perspective that other architects simply do not have. “Mike and his team did an outstanding job on three rooms in my home!! Kitchen, dining room and mud room. Mike's attention to the smallest detail along with fine craftsmanship were apparent in every aspect of the job. From painting, inlaying a tile floor, putting in cabinetry, to restructuring walls, all applications were perfectly installed and created . The cleaning up each and every day was amazing. He cleaned up better than when I left it and I never had to worry about breathing dust and wood particles as well as not being able to track materials back into other living spaces as areas were cleverly sectioned off, or protected. He got there on time each and every morning to work. He was conscientious and honest about my budget and took my money concerns seriously and proactively. He communicated with me if there was anything else taking precedence over my job and arranged times to continue and stick to the timeline. “We had Tom build a new home, a ranch, to plans that we got from a friends (whose home he also built some 10 years earlier.) He did a great job managing the contractors, communicating with us, etc. The work was very good, and we are very pleased. The real test though, is AFTER the house is "delivered" to the new owners. Here, Tom really excelled. We had the usual little things- nail pops etc. and he took care of them fast, without complaint and the work was done well, In a few cases, we had a problem due to our own fault, and he STILL took care of those things as well. A good business transaction, done in a friendly way. We could not ask for more!!”

“My wife and I had been planning our remodel project for 3 yrs. when we finally decided to go with it. In Oct. of 2010 I called Jack Dever and asked him to look into our renovation. Being very handy myself, I asked Jack to quote me a price for certain aspects of the project. He followed up with a visit from his designer and provided us with an estimate within a week. Being a major renovation, this was going to be a lengthy and costly project. By February of 2011, after some back and forth with the city on permits and drawings, we started our renovation. Jack and his crew were very professional, punctual, and skilled in their abilities. They performed the carpentry, electrical, windows, drywall and siding on the project.We attempted to try and live in the house during the project but after 1 month, we decided to move out until the kitchen and laundry room were usable. This sped the project up as more work was able to be completed. We moved back in by June 1st 2011 and we were so pleased with the work completed by Jack and his crew. Jack was more than helpful and professional and highly recommend his company when considering a project.”

Now they've also replaced all my siding, over the entire house. Very professional, the trades all come on time, everyone involved took pride and ownership in the project. Not an easy project when working with a demanding owner (me) and an old house.
