“This business has done all of our floor work--they have replaced one bathroom floor with ceramic tile, they have replaced carpet in five rooms twice, and they have installed new hardwoods in three areas. I have also purchased a hall runner from them. Their impressive service begins in their showroom where competent sales persons help with selection based on needs and cost. Their options are many and varied. They also worked with me each time to select installation dates that worked with my schedule. Each time, the workers appeared on time and completed the jobs as expected without breaking or harming or destroying anything. If I have any questions, the folks at this business answer them without complaint. They do what they say they will do when they say they will do it! “I can’t stop staring at our floors. Our cute but somewhat dated duckling of a house turned into a gorgeous swan in the hands of Right Step Flooring. Lucas and his Right Step crew removed old carpeting, installed new hardwoods to match the existing red oak, and customized stained and refinished the existing oak floors throughout our 2200 sq. ft home. They had the daunting task of mimicking paler-shaded white oak flooring from our orangey-red oak floors. If this is the aesthetic you are trying to achieve, you will quickly come to realize through research that it can be a hit or miss process. Lucas and his team hit it out of the ballpark! We were extremely impressed with Lucas’s professionalism, expertise, sage recommendations, and responsive communication. He is absolutely meticulous in his craft. Through testing, he discovered that we had a mix of different types of hardwoods that may have gone unnoticed by others during the refinishing process but would have definitely impacted the final look of the floors. Because of his diligence-our floors look perfect! He and his team were always prompt, worked tirelessly, and were a pleasure to work with. “Good communication. They come out to your house with tons of samples so you can see what everything will look like right in your home. I was indecisive in the planning stage (I hadn't even decided on the type of floor!) and the sales rep was very patient and helpful, and priced out several different options for me. When I brought up a minor issue after installation they were very eager to fix it and quick in sending someone out. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but the level of service was worth it.”

“11.25.2021 Mr. Kirkman was referred to me from another tile company to fix my badly damaged wood floor. The person said that he is "The Right Guy" to do that type of work. Mr. Kirkman did and OUTSTANDING job on the wood floor. The wood board was damaged by heavy furniture that was dropped on the floor causing it to crack and wood splinters were exposed. It looked horrible. Mr. Kirkman came to my house in two hours after that first phone call with all his equipment and fixed the floor like new. He suggested the repair over replacing the entire board in case I was not able to get a good match. He bonded the loose wood (splinters) and they sealed completely, he smoothed out the damaged area, fixed the coloring to match the floor with perfection! I was really impressed. I think Mr. Kirkman saved me a lot of money by not replacing the entire damage board. I thank him for that. He gets a plus 10 in my book and I highly recommend him. Like I said, i was impressed with the outcome of my damage floor. As Mr. Kirkman said before he started the work, "your floor will look pretty again". He was so right, it does look pretty again.
