We found out later that Victoria also runs Airbnb herself and is very familiar with that guests are looking for. In its minimal footprint, the building contains all the modern spaces and amenities, including a Bedroom, Full Bath, Laundry Room, Kitchenette, and built-in sofa that doubles as a dinette and converts to a queen sized bed for additional sleeping area; what may sound crowded in actuality feels open and cozy with ample natural light. It is refreshing to work with someone who appreciates historic architecture and respects its context when designing an adjacent building. She at once sees the big picture and the details; every design decision is related back to the whole, and she has a clear vision for how each selected material will be installed. In addition to being professional, organized, skilled, available, and prompt with decisions, Stephanie is kind and easy to work with. She provides descriptive and thorough drawings, yet can quickly sketch a detail on a raw 2x8 with a carpenters pencil when the inevitable construction questions arise.
