Founded in 1946, Brunke Furniture has been a Portland tradition for over 60 years. Herman Brunke established the business with the family name after serving in the Navy during World War II. An avid skier, mountain climber, and swimmer, he put all aside to start a furniture store and a family. Now Bob Brunke, his youngest son, and Bob's family operate the business with the same pride and stature.
