Jonathan A. Nussbaum - Furniture Maker, where craftsmanship, stewardship and customer service thrive. Craftsmanship: Jonathan takes pride in his attention to detail, use of mortise & tenon and dovetail joinery to create furniture that will function as well as it looks and stand the test of time. In addition, he apprenticed and worked in Portland under German Master Furniture Maker Kai Fuhrmann. Stewardship: Locally sourced, responsibly harvested or reclaimed materials and environmentally friendly finishes are the building blocks Jonathan’s furniture is made from. Not only does this help ensure a minimal environmental impact, it also contributes to the local economy and provides a connection to local forests providing your furniture a story you will be proud tell. To make good use of scrap and off fall materials Jonathan started the Breadboard Project and partners with Container Corps to make Xylobooks.
