“We hired Carrie to help with interior design of our home remodel. After living in our house for 5 years and with our first child on the way it was time to make some changes. The entire first floor of the home was gutted and remodeled - kitchen, dinning room, living room, spare bedroom, 2nd spare bedroom was turned into a nursery. Part of the basement was also remodeled - bathroom, bedroom. We added an additional 200 sq. ft. to the home. With a baby coming and both of us working full time we had zero extra time to look through endless options of products. Carrie sat down with us and listened to our needs and wants. By doing this she got to know us well and was able to provide a few options that she thought satisfied our tastes. Not having an endless budget we had to pick and choose were to spend. Carrie was extremely helpful in advising where to splurge a little and where to be conservative. She was an integral part of any issues that arose during construction and was an advocate for us to the general contractor. The construction lasted around 4 months. Carrie would come to the house at least weekly to walk through and monitor progress and look for any potential issues. This was very important as it kept the progress moving and we were able to address problems with the general contractor in real time. Once the construction was over it was time for new furnishings. Carrie once again gave us multiple options for couches, tables, area rugs, etc. It was really nice that Carrie was also able to provide window blinds and treatments. She ordered everything for us and had everything professional delivered and installed. Overall, the project would never have been accomplished without her. We highly recommend her for any home remodeling project. Carrie provided expert advice on how to take a home built in the 80's and completely update. She guided us through the entire process starting with design and ending with furnishings.”
