I had the pleasure of working with Craig on a couple of remodeling projects, and I can confidently say that he is one of the best contractors I've ever had the opportunity to work with. He and his team did an excellent job on both projects. As an interior designer, I've worked with many contractors over the years, and Craig stands out for his attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way, which I greatly appreciate. Craig was always available to answer any questions I had and was easy to discuss issues with. His communication skills are truly top-notch, and he kept me informed throughout the entire remodeling process. He was also able to complete the projects on time. In addition to his excellent communication skills, Craig was also great with clients. He was able to put them at ease and answer any questions or concerns they had, which is essential when working on a home renovation project. Overall, I highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a detail-oriented, committed, and easy-to-work-with contractor.

This is a review for Beckner Contracting and Management in Walnut Creek. If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. Craig and his team were absolutely the best. Craig put together a beautiful floor plan for our 380 square-foot mother-in-law unit which included a kitchen, pantry, eat-in area, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and closet. We had a pre-existing empty bonus room which he ripped down to the studs. He added insulation, walls, electrical, gas, water, sewer, AC/heating, windows, ceiling fans, flooring, custom cabinets, appliances, vaulted ceilings, earthquake framing, you name it. The best thing about the entire build is the air gap sealing process he did which essentially makes the apartment sound proof and maintains the interior temperature constant. We’ve used the AC minimally during the summer because it stays really cool and really cozy in the winter. As a result, we’ve only seen a minimal increase in our utilities. Craig was a fantastic communicator and VERY detailed-oriented. He listened to what we wanted and always kept our budget in mind. Most importantly is his integrity. This was a substantial investment for us, but we always felt like he was taking care of us. The process was smooth and painless and there were never any concerns. We’ve done other home renovations which have left a sour taste in our mouth. Craig delivered and met our every standard. Thank you Craig for turning an empty dingy room into my mother-in-law’s new home and our favorite hang-out spot!!!! We will not hesitate to use him for our next project.

We needed to get our San Francisco Russian Hill penthouse condo ready for sale. Craig Beckner handled numerous repairs and upgrades, and did a phenominaal, stress free, and meticulous job ÷ with great communication while we were in another country. The house sold in two months for top dollar.

As a first-time homeowner, I needed help updating my mid-century modern condominium. I hired Beckner Contracting to handle various installations and repairs throughout. They employed the highest quality craftsmanship and attention to aesthetics.

Beckner Contracting remodeled all of the first floor, including the kitchen, family room, living room, dining room, bathroom, and laundry area. It was a really positive experience. Not only was Craig there everyday; we were especially impressed with the weekly meetings, scheduling, timeline spreadsheet, and follow through. Craig and his team were very collaborative and thoughtful and great problem solvers. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Now, we are enjoying the open floor plan, especially when we entertain our family and friends.

Craig and his team were the contractors for a spa bathroom renovation I designed. What differentiates Craig from other contractors is his creativity, his meticulousness and high level of finish detail, and his commitment to come up with creative solutions that enhance the design and aesthetic intent.
