We used the Lawlers to gut and remodel an exterior building, into a small apartment for friends and family when they visit. This required a new AC system, running new electrical lines, adding electrical features, installing plumbing/water lines, putting in new walls/floors, building out a small kitchen, and putting in an entire bathroom. The Lawlers communicated with us every step along the way and were clear on what we could provide ourselves to finish out the project. We are pleased with how everything turned out, as our families who have stayed in the apartment multiple times. The budget we provided with at the beginning of the project was fairly accurate, with our only budget increases being additions/extras we wanted added along the way. There were a few hiccups along the way with materials, but the Lawlers kept us in the loop with these delays. We use the Lawlers again if we needed to do another project.

There aren’t strong enough words to adequately describe how amazing Ben and Tammy Lawler were to work with during what was a challenging rebuild of my condo in Lago Vista. From the first time we met to survey the damage from the February 2021 freeze, my mind was put at ease knowing they were committed to this project. The condo had to be rebuilt from just the studs left following mitigation, and the finished project is spectacular! Ben and Tammy were extremely organized and adhered to the timeline they provided with fantastic suggestions along the way and great attention to detail. Their communication throughout the project was helpful with me living 3 hours away, and they always showed great patience during my numerous calls. I can’t say enough about Ben and Tammy’s work ethic, and their ability to manage all of the issues involved in restoring my condo to what it is now – it’s quite remarkable! They are people you can trust to be efficient, productive and willing to go the extra mile to help. Ben even picked up toilets and the bathtub from Home Depot to move things along! I will forever be grateful for their dedication and kindness in helping me complete this project!

My wife and I hired Lawler Contracting Services for an extensive remodel of our home. We did a complete kitchen remodel, as well as new floors and paint throughout the house. For our kitchen remodel, we wanted to remove a load bearing wall to achieve a more open feel, so Ben and Tammy hired an engineer to assess the situation. The engineer’s recommendation proved to be too costly, so my wife and I abandoned the idea. However, Ben and Tammy were able to come up with a solution that was not only structurally sound, but ended up looking better while also fitting within our budget. With a remodel of this size, hiccups and delays are inevitable, but Ben and Tammy managed every situation flawlessly. They returned calls/texts/emails quickly, and they really care about doing a good job. Our project was finished nearly a year ago, and we haven’t had to call them back to fix anything. I’m looking forward to hiring Ben and Tammy for my next project!
