Aspire (Whitestone) build our beautiful home in the Heights in 2018. We worked with David Gordon on the design and Taylor Johnson completed the project. Taylor was very customer-focused throughout the construction and he has been a terrific resource ever since, even helping us through some challenging weather damage more recently. Taylor has continued to be a great partner post-build and we feel very fortunate to have him next door!

We had a very positive experience working with Aspire Fine Homes to build our house. David, Taylor, Michael, Desiree, and the various contractors they managed were incredibly professional throughout the process. They were knowledge and always had a helpful perspective, but also made sure that our vision was the priority. We are in love with our home, thank you team!

We moved into our Aspire-built home in September 2022 and have been thrilled ever since. Owner Dave and Construction Manager Taylor made the process smooth and transparent, putting us first-time new-built buyers at ease. A special nod to our superintendent, Michael Leanes, whose attention to detail was impeccable. He proactively addressed all aspects from framing to final walk-through. One year in, we've reached our warranty milestone, and the home is still in excellent shape. Minor touch-ups were swiftly handled by Aspire’s efficient team, whose coordinated effort delivered a high-quality home that matches our vision perfectly.

Dave and the rest of the Aspire team were fantastic to work with. Trying to find the right builder for my "forever" home was challenging, but Dave and the Aspire team did an amazing job. Starting with the design and architecture, working through the budget and ending with the actual construction process, Dave and his team demonstrated both creativity and practicality. We went under contract in fall 2021 and closed on our house late summer 2022. David and his team were amazing to work with – all were professional and extremely responsive. As this was our first home to build, we had a lot of questions. Taylor and Michael were both very knowledgeable and helped address any questions and concerns we had throughout the process. They made sure we knew the timeline of when decisions needed to be made ahead of time so we had time to discuss and research prior to making any decisions. By far, the best thing I can say about Aspire is that they stand behind their work and craftsmanship, even after you close. They continue to show up to finish any remaining punch list items and address any issues that have popped up since we moved in. There has been no hesitation or question when we ask for them to swing by to look at something. Aspire built us a beautiful home and we would absolutely work with them again in the future!

Dave and his team exceeded our expectations with both an outstanding product and also incredible customer service. And furthermore, when the final house was delivered, we came in under budget despite a handful of changes we elected to do mid project. I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are with our new home. The Aspire team was direct, honest, and thoughtful. Everything they said they would do, they did and then some. We leaned on Aspire for advice, asking for the pros / cons, asking to price out different options, you name it, and they were happy to accommodate. Dave and team are relentless in making sure they deliver the highest quality product, no matter what. We couldn’t be happier and will forever be thankful to the whole Aspire team!

From when we first walked into our first meeting, we knew we had chosen the right builder. The finishes David showed us in his current projects(at the time) looked amazing and were ended up being a real inspiration when we designed our home. They walked us through step-by-step and my favorite part was how transparent and upfront they communicated any issues as they came up. Aspire always had a solution and even clever ways to cut down on costs while enhancing the overall look of the home. It is always important to know that the most expensive option is not always the best. Lastly, I want to thank the whole team at Aspire and credit them for a for a job well done. We had a house built in the Heights area in 2021 with Aspire Fine Homes. We love our home and are enjoying it very much.

We have been looking to move into town to be closer to our family in Oak Forest, so we attended an open house in Garden Oaks. Once we stepped in, we knew we had found our builder! From the crown molding to the appliances to all of the finishes, the attention to detail was the best we had ever seen. The couple that had the open house introduced us to David Gordon, founder of Whitestone Builders, now Aspire Fine Homes. From that point on, he was involved with us every step of the way. From tearing down the house on the lot we purchased to engaging an architect, David was with us all the way. Once we were in our house, David’s team was very responsive and helpful to follow up on warranties and to make sure we were satisfied with the final product. David’s team was so professional in how they treated us during the build and after the build. If we ever build again, there will be no one on the list, but David and his Aspire Fine Homes team!

We had the opportunity to work with Aspire Fine Homes and David Gordon to build our dream house last year. Aspire has an in house team that covered all phases of the project from architecture to landscaping, which gave us a one stop shop where the Aspire team had accountability for every aspect of the project. David was very flexible in the design elements of our project and very clear on budget, and selection impacts on budget, from the very first meeting we had with him when we acquired the land. We had a few minor bumps along the way, but every time we called to voice concerns either on the business side of the house or the construction side, the problem was very quickly resolved and usually exactly how we suggested it should be. Our house was completed 6 weeks ahead of schedule (which is unheard of in my understanding) and on budget save for a few change orders along the way as a result of our selections. Both David (the head of the Company) and Michael Reed (the project manager for our house) answered our calls every time we rang, which was very frequent, or called us back that day. We have been in the house about 9 months and have absolutely loved it. The inspector and several vendors have independently commented to us on the structural integrity of the house. We have had zero major issues with the house and only a few minor ones that were discovered once we moved in and were immediately addressed. One of those minor issues presented during a flood last year and the Aspire team volunteered to come out and fix it that day while it was still storming. Even still 9 months later when we have little issues that are covered during the warranty period they usually come out to fix it within 24 hours. We have been very pleased to have worked with the Aspire team and we love our new house.

David Gordon and his team have been exceptional builders from start to finish. We have truly enjoyed working with all his staff and they have built our family a wonderful home we will enjoy for many years. We cannot recommend Aspire Fine Homes highly enough.

We started working with the team of Aspire Fine Homes in late December of 2018. From day 1, David and the team were easy and fun to work with. The guidelines given during the early process, helped us understand the timeline of building such a beautiful home. Every one of the vendors that helped us with selections were ultimate professionals and very, very helpful. Once the building process started, we were assigned a project manager that would guide us through decisions that had to be made as the project moved along. The project manager was a true gem going far and beyond to make us happy and informed as the project got nearer to completion. I must admit, I was expecting a stressful process and year, but it was far from that. The team at Aspire is the reason for this. I absolutely appreciate them in every way. I had long admired Whitestone's work, and I was thrilled to finally have the opportunity to hire them to build my family's new home. Their superior quality of craftsmanship is obvious, but it's their honestly that sets them apart. The homebuilding process is stressful and can, at times, be overwhelming. However, I was always kept in the loop (there were no surprises), I was able to rely on the Whitestone team to navigate the few obstacles that arose, and the end result was beautiful.

I have worked with Whitestone on several projects, and they build a solid home. Their super intendants are very on top of things, perhaps as detail-minded as me. My husband and I recently completed the construction of our new home with Whitestone Builders. We both had built a home in the past but this was our first true, start to finish, custom home. Since we had been through the construction process, we interviewed several builders before we even started the design phase. Whitestone has a unique process for ensuring that they can build the home that you are wanting for the price that fits your budget by meeting with you and the architect throughout the design phase. This helped set our expectations of what we could expect for the amount we were willing to spend. The project manager on our project was great. He was very knowledgeable, polite and patient even in tense situations when decisions needed to be made quickly or the end result was not what was expected. The construction process is imperfect so we were glad that we were dealing with a reputable builder that listened to issues, came up with reasonable resolutions and took corrective actions where necessary.

I want to personally thank the owner for his professional approach to my project and my family. During our construction process, we found Whitestone builders to have a unique ability to balance the needs and desires with our wants and expectations. By really taking the time to understand the needs of my family, we were able to develop a design that coupled the functionality of a growing family with the class and elegance for entertaining. Whitestone truly listened to my wife and I describe our needs and was able to create a living experience that will enrich our family and give us a return on investment that we will benefit from for years to come.

Whitestone Builders and the owner, David Gordon, has had a working relationship with Collaborative Design Group Architecture and Interiors for over 6 years. We have primarily provided him with interior design services for his spec homes and for the majority of his clients for that time period. We do all of the cabinetry design as well, and have just started to do some of his architectural work too. David Gordon is one of the most reputable builders that we work with now and cannot recommend him highly enough. He has assembled a great new team of project managers, and provides a multitude of services to his clients – his most significant is his PCA, Pre-Construction Agreement for new home buyers. This allows David to help them with lot selection and purchase, design direction and the selection of the right architect and interior designer for the project, and has proven to be a popular offering among his clients. It is a great way to bring a professional of his caliber into the initial custom home building process, especially for a new buyer. Whitestone Builders has an exemplary record with our clients as well, David is a man of faith and that shows through in his dealings with our mutual clients. His projects have garnered him numerous awards, and he is active in the houston building community and has acted in numerous leadership roles. Whitestone Builders was named Custom Builder of the Year for 2012 by the Greater Houston Builders Association, their top award in the city.
