“We had the opportunity to work with Peter Hansen when we refurbished the Princess and the Pea Bed and Breakfast. Our vision was to restore an historic heritage house to its original character, but with all the conveniences of an award winning bed and breakfast. The project was a huge challenge combining many different construction skills. Peter met and exceeded everything that was needed to complete the task. Sharon and I would highly recommend working with Peter Hansen of Lund Projects Ltd for any of your building projects. He will deliver beyond expectation.”

“We worked with Galen when we built our house and we were extremely happy with the whole process. The project finished on time and on budget, and we felt we had complete visibility throughout. When issues arose during the process, whether related to the building process or coming from us, they were efficiently communicated and the consequences of any decisions were clear to us before we committed. We dropped by the site unannounced frequently, and we always found a full crew working hard, usually supervised by Galen directly. He is clearly committed to getting things done right, and is engaged in making sure that it is. He was also very active in making sure we got the agreed upon quality without breaking our budget - in one case getting a subcontractor to redo some work which he felt was substandard and in another getting us excellent deals for material (in this case flooring) that was normally outside of our price range. We would not hesitate to recommend Galen to anyone, and have in fact done so on several occasions. Should we ever need to engage in another building project, Galen is the first person we'd turn to.”

“After receiving our bldg. permit we hired Bill McCance to build our garage. Bill was a pleasant surprise in that he listened and did everything we asked for to the smallest detail, with exacting quality. We live offsite, but he faithfully communicated every step with texting and e-mailed pictures. He even took care of dealing with CRD and Islands Trust, the ruling authorities who required inspections. Bill is a hard worker, and highly capable of doing the work, but the one caution would be to take control of your own costing as an owner.”

“We decided recently it was time to finish our basement. In searching for the right builder to help with our needs we had heard great things about Norguest and had seen some of their work around Maple Ridge so we contacted Jason to get started. He listened to what we wanted and offered some helpful ideas and how best to accomplish our goals and we could not be more happy with the result. Jason and his team did an amazing job on our basement and downstairs bathroom which is now the nicest in the house. All the work was completed quickly with minimal disruption to our schedule. The area was always left clean and all of the subtrades used were top notch which if you know the construction business, says a lot about the person they work for. All trades were exceptional and did quality work. The job was completed quickly and the workers were always polite and respectful at all times. Best of all the price was more than fair. Thanks Jason and the Norquest team for building us such a beautiful basement and for the exceptional service throughout. Norquest gets my highest recommendation.”
