“Mike Blake Custom Homes was highly recommended by my architect. When it came to building our dream home, my wife and I were very picky. I had heard horror stories from others that had built custom homes that "you and your builder will hate each other by the time your house is finished". After hearing that, I was concerned that I would have to compromise a lot on my thoughts and ideas for the house and on the overall quality that I would likely be demanding. Turns out there was no reason to feel that way. Quality was never an issue. I thought I would have to be present nearly every day to oversee things to be sure they were done right but I soon realized that was not necessary. They had things well under control without me and it was a big relief knowing that things would be done right. I can honestly say that my wife and I have actually become closer and better friends with Mike and Kim than we were before we built. In fact, we have been out to dinner with them several times since our home was completed. They were both very helpful all along the way during construction and were more like partners in the process rather than builders. Picking out colors, styles, etc. seemed like a daunting task but Kim was right with us holding our hand every step of the way. Early after moving in, there were a few minor issues that needed attention and Mike was very prompt about coming out to fix/repair when I notified him. We have had no major warranty issues at all since moving in. Overall, we have no regrets and would not think twice about using Mike and Kim again as our builders. You will be very pleased with their professionalism and the quality of the finished product. They will stand behind everything they do!”

“Don Freeman is a man of his word. This company is very professional and highly respected. The job is done as quoted and no hidden fee. He is on site and his workers are very professional and hard at work. He has the job done on time, if not earlier. I trust don freeman and highly recommend this person. My husband and I bought a house, the other construction company became our nightmare. They mess up our house and abandon us. A friend told us about don freeman. Don came over and told us what needed to be done and we agree, he made the nightmare go away and gave us our house back. He was very nice and became a good friend. He understands the fear about hiring contractors, once you use him, you will never let him go.”

“After an unfortunate accident of a car running into the back of our home, we got recommendations for someone to repair the damage. Mr. Walls came highly recommended by someone we trust and we were not disappointed. The quality of work, professionalism, and the timeline of the work done by Chris Walls and employees of Republic Homes was excellent. “We hired Aspenwood Custom Homes to renovate a property which needed to be updated. Mark B., of Aspenwood, provided us with accurate estimates, worked closely with us to be sure the work met our requirements, and was very reliable. We were especially pleased with the results in the kitchen, which was dated and ugly before the renovation. A wall had to be reconfigured in the hallway, all baseboards were replaced, the bathroom was fully renovated, a new hot water heater was installed, and a number of other things were addressed. We were pleased with the results of the work and with our experience with Aspenwood.”

“Heritage Builders gave us a superior house in a location that was very challenging to build on. We really appreciated the communication involved with all aspects of the process, including their use of BuilderTrend to provide project status and allow for selections while we were out of town. The overall process was smooth and allowed for our input on all aspects of the build. The project manager was very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of. All of the subcontractors that we met with were very professional and accommodating, especially the paint crew. Cabinets are beautiful. Definitely recommend Heritage Builders if you are looking.”
