“We knew that building the house that we envisioned would be a monumental task. Ario Construction made the process very manageable and even enjoyable from the very first decision through to the last nail. Company owner Chris Adario provided amazing customer service during the whole process. He was easy to work with, friendly, trustworthy, patient and very accommodating to our constantly changing needs. He has great attention to detail and is talented in all aspects of design and products, which is invaluable when navigating the myriad of choices and decisions to be made. He is highly organized. We had no delays during the process which is testament to his highly efficient project management. Ario’s professional carpenters are as good as they come, very talented at their craft, friendly and approachable. Plus they kept the job site clean which we appreciated. Further, Ario Construction has great relationships with its trades people which reflects in the final product. And guess what? Our house build was on budget and on time. And, we absolutely love it. “We worked with Galen when we built our house and we were extremely happy with the whole process. The project finished on time and on budget, and we felt we had complete visibility throughout. When issues arose during the process, whether related to the building process or coming from us, they were efficiently communicated and the consequences of any decisions were clear to us before we committed. We dropped by the site unannounced frequently, and we always found a full crew working hard, usually supervised by Galen directly. He is clearly committed to getting things done right, and is engaged in making sure that it is. He was also very active in making sure we got the agreed upon quality without breaking our budget - in one case getting a subcontractor to redo some work which he felt was substandard and in another getting us excellent deals for material (in this case flooring) that was normally outside of our price range. We would not hesitate to recommend Galen to anyone, and have in fact done so on several occasions. Should we ever need to engage in another building project, Galen is the first person we'd turn to.”

“Suter Homes built our lovely 5000 + sq ft home (with geothermal heating) in Whistler, which was completed at the end of 2018. Our build presented a number of challenges as we are located on a plot between one of the lakes and the highway, which was restricted due to various land setback rules. We are delighted with the outcome! Key factors: - during much of the build we were located in Europe so decision making was more challenging and Suter Homes had to use their initiative on many occasions. Given they had a clear view of our preferences and have lots of experience, this worked fine; - we appreciated Paul's 'good' eye for how things would look when finished (often difficult for us to visualise in 3 dimensions) and he often came up with ideas and solutions that we would not have thought of (we have built from scratch before in another country); - the Suter Homes site manager was outstanding!; - all sub contractors were efficient, provided good quality work and kept the site tidy; - since completion we have had only one, relatively minor construction issue, which is being dealt with. We are very happy to recommend Suter Homes highly!”

“We completely gutted our new home in Comox and had it re-done from top to bottom. This renovation included a very large kitchen and family-room with a fireplace, all done in solid maple, quartz counter-tops and large 22x22 tiles throughout. We also re-did all bathrooms (3), added hardwood floors through most rooms in the house (including very large master-bedroom), had all new appliances installed, 2 new staircase, new walk-in closet and had the entire inside of the house painted, including ceilings, doors and window-casings.”
