We originally approached Jim about prewiring our 7,500 square foot custom home in Paradise Valley when we moved to Arizona back in 1996. “JL Automation did a fantastic job installing a fairly extensive Elan G! system in my home. It is a large residence, about 9000 sq ft, and Jon and his crew had their work cut out for them sorting through miles of sloppy prewiring installed during the initial construction, and also installing some new wiring to fulfill some specific requests I had made. Jon personally wired up all the equipment in the rack - he is completely obsessive-compulsive and every last wire was perfectly routed and bundled. The system is quite robust and has worked almost flawlessly. The few inevitable bugs that showed up subsequently were handled quickly via code tweaks or firmware updates. JL also provided a quick and detailed yet simple to understand cost estimate for the project, and was competitive with other installers who had specified inferior systems that were really not properly scaled to this home.
