“After searching for a modern, rustic style coffee table for months, we came across Kurtz & Atkins' work in a local shop and were immediately smitten. Unlike many of the pieces we had found, this table is made from local, reclaimed barn wood and it definitely shows. I immediately emailed K&A to ask what they had in stock since all I had seen of their's so far were benches and Jodi immediately responded with three photos of available coffee tables. Three days later Jodi and Brian carried this table into my living room. The hairpin legs make it really easy to keep the table level on hundred year old angled floors. We get so many compliments on this table, but more importantly we feel very connected to both the design and the piece itself. The wood has a lot of personality and a clear story. Also, this piece is not at all fragile. Kurtz and Atkins are a total pleasure to work with. Completely open to new ideas and ready to work on things immediately. Their turn around time is amazing. I am looking forward to working on more furniture with them in the future.”
