“Saltzgiver Designs offers the best advice and has the most fabric, etc. choices I've encountered. Ann Saltzgiver can do it all, from living areas to kitchens and bathrooms. She is able to step back a moment, assess the situation and help the client make a decision that suits their personality. I am an artist and she has given me the best advice ever.”

“We moved from California to Colorado and bought a house that had never been updated since it was built in 1980. It looked awful but had good bones. It had carpet throughout, linoleum, separate but large kitchen, popcorn ceilings, windows that needed replacing, orange peel wall texture, no mantle on the 15x20ft moss rock fireplace, small wood baseboards and door casings, no lighting or ceiling fans, outdated window coverings in the living room that actually had an insert into the wall to accompany some of the thick curtains, square corners, a mirrored wetbar in the long hallway with a 'cat perch' or landing for plants on top of it, thin plank stair rails, 1980 appliances, etc. I interviewed several interior designers for this remodel and decided to go with Kathy Speas--her website and photos of what she did was exactly what I wanted. I knew it was a huge project and wanted someone who had extensive experience and testimonials so I went with her and ultimately her husband's company, Sikora Construction & Remodel after viewing his website and testimonials. She redesigned my kitchen space to open up into the dining and living room, reconfigured the entry way and stair rails, suggested styles and placement of new windows like skylights, the west window wall and additional window in the kitchen, helped me choose all the colors including paint, trim, kitchen including cabinets, backsplash, flooring, furniture, pillows, window coverings, appliances, etc. I really liked how she was available, called me back promptly, got things done quickly, communicated with me on my tastes, likes, dislikes and together we made decisions using her design expertise to make what I wanted work. I was also glad I hired Sikora Construction because I wanted flawless communication between the design and construction so we did not waste time or energy to complete this remodel. I highly recommend Speas Interior Design and Sikora Construction for any of your remodeling work.”

“My wife and I are very traditional in our taste and furniture selections: high-end, but understated. Christie came in and moved our furniture into the garage! Then she went to work with a relatively blank canvas... She spent significant time evaluating the home and determining what furniture showed the home in the most favorable light. Christie has a great attitude, worked with us to keep costs under control and produced a spectacular result. Everyone who saw the home when she had finished thought it looked like a million dollar home should look! Kudos to Christie for all her hard work. We can definitely recommend her to others seeking to stage their home for sale!”

“I strongly recommend working with Johanna on any remodel project. Johanna is very professional, and works with you instead of for you. She took the time to listen and understand everything about our project and ensure that the design would not only fit the space, but our family’s needs as well. If you want someone who will listen to you, and work with you as a team, someone who will go above and beyond to ensure you get the very best, you won’t find anyone better than Johanna. We initially met with Johanna at our home. She looked at our space and listened to our needs. She then went and built out a couple computer generated models to help us narrow in on what we wanted. From there, she went back and refined the whole design and got us to the design we wanted. She then helped us pick out every color, wood grain, and accessory down to the smallest detail. She did a lot of research to find exactly what we wanted when we couldn’t find it ourselves. Then she presented it in a way that made sense and allowed us to see our vision before it became a reality. We love the design, every aspect of the project she was involved in, and we absolutely love working with Johanna. It is very simple to recommend Johanna to anyone working on a remodel project.”

“Gidget Webster, head of DesignCents, was the designer and decorator for our new luxury bathroom in Colorado. She brought to the job a great combination of skills and tools -- floor plan software, technical experience, product knowledge, relationship building, and hands on know-how. Artistic, technical, creative, and mechanical -- she brings it all. To design this new bathroom, Gidget converted our conversations using a complex software into a flat blueprint that transformed to a three dimensional, 360 degree rotating picture of the bathroom. When the room was built, the picture and the actual room looked exactly alike. This was amazingly helpful. When it came to making decisions about tile patterns, sink and shower hardware, she made this an easier process for me. The unlimited possibilites were overwhelming to me. She came to me with three ideas with physical samples she thought matched my tastes and budget and let me react to them. The end results were beautiful because her sample did match my taste but were more beautiful and creative than I would have imagined on my own. I had hired the builder before I hired Gidget and he was a strongly opinionated man. Gidget managed to get him to cooperate completely with her. She was conscious of costs on my behalf, often saying things like "I would never pay this much for tile" or "you'll get your money's worth with such-and-such" I know she helped me save money without sacrificing style. Another reason I liked working with Gidget is that she accommodated my own imagination. I have elaborate ideas; sometimes, impossible ones. For example, I wanted to use a crude dough bowl as a double sink. She helped me accomplished this At the end, Gidget added her own mechanical savvy. For example, the builder installed the shower and the sink hardware upside down. She figured it out and changed it herself. She even made some installations on her own wearing her tool belt and using her own drill. The bathroom has all the features I wanted and it is gorgeous!”

“We hired Kelley to complete our hot tub room with window coverings, wall color, and décor. She selected a fabric for the windows that was perfect, and along with the color of the room, and the various wall hangings and décor, it now has a very spa-like feeling. She helped me decide on the rod and finials that looked the best. She took very exact measurements and was able to give me pictures and drawings as to how the room would look before I made any decisions. She also worked well within the budget we had. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend her.”
Interiors by Joni Bader

“Joni and her team helped me stay focused while rebuilding my home after a house fire took the original one from us. We lost almost everything. Her knowledge and experience surpasses that of other designers in her field. She will work within your budget and her office contains all the samples you could possibly need. She is reasonable in price and effective in her designs. She does contemporary or old world beautifully and anything inbetween. She is what I would term understated elegance. She and I worked so well together and she understood exactly what I was looking for. She helped me from the floor to the ceiling throughout our 3600sf space. She has a great eye for color and detail as do her staff. We are so comfortable in our new home. We still have a lot to do but it will take time to replace artwork and accessories. I look forward to continuing my association with Joni and her staff as I proceed to decorate my home. We get so many compliments on our furnishings and color choices. We also have received compliments on our lighting, especially the pendants over my kitchen island. That was all Joni, as I said, she has a great eye. All the tile work was designed by her staff member Tami Hoyt and it is gorgeous. Nothing but compliments on that as well.”
