“We have worked with A. Peltier Interiors on a couple of projects in our home. The first time we worked with the firm the project was focused on refinishing our basement. It was a large space that we wanted to use for entertaining, with the ability to seat several people. We also wanted to incorporate a bar area into the living space. Amy gave us several options to meet our expectations, while focused on our budget. The final product exceeded our expectations and we always get wonderful compliments when we entertain. The second project was a kitchen renovation and Amy provided us a wonderful layout, as well as beautiful tile work. “At my get acquainted meeting with Christy I knew we could work together easily and I wasn't wrong. She was better than I ever hoped for. She is so talented in her field, competent, knowledgeable, patient and eager to do everything correctly to make you pleased. She communicated well, and in my case I had a definite desire to utilize things I already had, but in an updated way and she enjoyed working with "my things." Of course she also added a lot and never did anything without discussing it first. The new purchases were always right on and fit well. She designed my kitchen, living room, dining room, master bed, guest room and den. This took a few years because of things going on in our lives, but I could pick up the phone anytime and get a prompt response. She did most of the purchasing after the design was agreed upon which was what I wanted. I have recommended her to several friends and they are all delighted as well. Christy has an artist's eye, and is also practical and a problem solver. As my builder said who did the updating in the kitchen, "I have never worked with a decorator who is so capable and easy to talk to. “I referred Alchemy to assist my client in a whole house remodel/addition in Huntington Beach. I was responsible for the plans and permit, with general placement of interior fixtures. They did the final appearances adjusting layouts, spaces, and the accompanying fixtures (plumbing, tile, flooring, lights, cabinets, colors, furniture, and decorations). An additional challenge to this project was meeting the needs to make the whole house accessible to a motorized wheelchair: ADA compliant. It was a real surprise to see the changes: it was how the space makes you feel when you're in it and thy nailed it for the clients tastes and function, along with their interest in entertaining and assisting their disabled family member. It's art combined with function. Well done!”
