“Sara helped me with my kitchen refresh and I couldn't be happier. I had a quartzite slab picked out that I was in love with and she helped me select colors for my walls and cabinets, and pick a backsplash that coordinated with the counters. I had originally been leaning towards just a simple white subway tile backsplash, but after talking to Sara, I realized that my kitchen layout would be better suited for a more geometric shaped backsplash because there were already so many long horizontal lines. I never would have thought of something like that without Sara. Sara also patiently answered about 65 photo text messages and emails from me and she pulled together a spot on mood board which gave me great direction for some small improvements I want to do in the kitchen in the future (like light fixtures and a new table). I am so in love with my kitchen and really loved working with Sara at Bandd Design!”

If there is an alternative product that is more optimal, she will know it. She also assisted in the procurement of the items and, when one of them came defective, she followed up and got it rectified. We are so happy with our home design by Jenna, which was eventually selected by the builder to feature in the Parade of Homes in the area. I would work with Jenna again in a heartbeat. “Margaret and John Larcade created and executed a comprehensive and excellent redesign and update of the interior of the mid-century modern house I live in which was designed by my father. The house is a beautiful house and Margaret's furniture and fabric choices really enhanced the elegant simplicity of the house. Her knowledge of interior design, her familiarity with the most interesting fabrics and furniture sources and her sophisticated understanding of space, color and texture combined with her many years of design experience made the process of redesign inspirational. She and John pay great attention to detail and to the integrity of the space and are at the same time very practical and cost effective about their design solutions. The professionals they brought in for upholstery, painting etc. were all excellent and the companies Margaret works with respect and admire her. Both she and John are very generous with their time and were patient and careful to make sure that my husband and I were pleased and comfortable with each aspect of the design process. Margaret and John also did a wonderful job of creating solutions for some of the design challenges that were presented. They created a more comfortable and intimate space in our "pass through" dining room, they designed furniture and shelf inserts in our den and they commissioned an iconic piece of wall art made from vintage Knoll fabric from my father's office for our Living Room. The finished product achieves exactly what I hoped it would achieve, to honor my father's house. I love every aspect of the design and have great respect for them both. I highly recommend them and will be using them myself in the future.”
