Jill and I did an entire remodel of our home in La Jolla California. I was impressed with her professional work ethic, her knowledge of materials we could use and her selection of fabrics. I also like her east coast vibe, more sophisticated than our west cost casual. Our home is beautiful, always get compliments, I give Jill all the credit.

I hired Jill Gordon to "make over" my living & dining rooms. Jill had excellent advice and suggestions throughout the entire project. Jill was mindful of my budget and provided me with options at various price points. Jill's strong relationship with many vendors was beneficial to me. I observed her in action as we shopped for fabrics, furniture, paint, rugs, etc. Jill has excellent taste and sense of style but never "pushed" her style on me; she allowed my "personality" to shine through. She has a keen eye for color and texture and knew exactly the right proportions for the furniture, window treatments, etc. needed in the living room. Jill suggested the perfect combination of fabric colors/patterns/textures and feel. I love all the fabrics we chose for my new sofa, reupholstered furniture, pillows and window treatments as well as the grass cloth in the dining room. She found fun accessories and interesting lamps and lampshades as the entire room came together. She even introduced a new material to me, Shagreen, on a gorgeous etagere end table. Jill is Totally professional, creative, great color and design sense and a joy to work with. she is flexible and reasonable. Jill will go way beyond what is expected to find the solution to what may seem an unsolvable problem. When we had spent numerous hours looking for a low table for in front of the sofa and had all but given up hope, Jill drove several hours on her own time to research an extremely talented artisan who created the perfect table for us. It is our favorite piece in our home.

Jill Gordon has a proven eye for design, as evidenced by her portfolio. Her love of beautiful fabrics, coupled with her talent for creating comfortable but polished interiors, made working with her fun and easy. And the end result is lovely.

Jill is terrific! She pointed me in the right direction every time. Her good sense and design skills helped transform my apartment into a chic and warm, updated and modernized space -- by choosing the right paint and swapping out just a few pieces of furniture. She is a color guru for starters, identifying in minutes the right shades and tones -- from paint to fabric to wood stain colors. Jill was also very good about helping to clarify the critical items in need of change versus the less critical, in an effort to keep to budget and still achieve the look and feel I wanted. Working with Jill actually saved me money because with her good sense I did less to achieve more; I would have changed window treatments and Persian rugs etc. in addition to what I did change, but she convinced me to keep those elements and focus all efforts on other items in need of change instead, such as my dining table, chairs and couch. Jill was right. Jill was also very quick to respond to any and all requests -- she has great reflexes on what will and what won't work to achieve desired look and shares her thoughts and ideas with no reservation or hesitation. I came to rely on Jill so much that I couldn't even hang a picture without consulting her first. Thanks to Jill, I enjoy being in and showing off my home.
