Rebecca Foster- Interior Designer

Rebecca is the interior designer for our 2023 award winning house beating out 800 entries in the much coveted HAVAN award. She is professional and knowledgeable as all designers are but she is also most pleasant to work with. She always have a smile and very patient guiding us through the many decisions of making wise choices. I was working full time and could not read up on the latest design trends and definitely not well versed in many design features. She educated us with reasons for certain decisions and took us on tours to factories and showrooms when we showed an interest and at the same time is very budget minded as we needed her to be. In the end, we trusted her 100% as she is mindful of our needs and thoroughly understand our lifestyles and activities. We appreciate her abilities to communicate well with us and always above board and trustworthy, open and pleasant, professional and respectful. It had been a wonderful experience working closely with her and would not hesitate to recommend her to all our friends. In fact, my children ended up consulting her for their renovation of a townhome kitchen.

Becky helped us step by step in creating a new basement suite, updating our two fireplaces, as well as bringing in built-ins and shelves in our family room. It felt like a daunting task with all the possible decisions and many choices. With Becky's help and guidance we were able to make decisions quickly and efficiently taking into account finish, cost and style. The best part was how she was able to visualize our project using our idea's and style choices. She even created a 3D video of our new space to help. Overall, she was the best at helping us create our new haven in our home. I would highly recommend her to help with any design project.

I absolutely loved working with Becky and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to build, renovate or simply redo a space. She was able to help our new build be a great experience. She is professional yet equally personable. Her ideas for the cabinetry as well as detailed drawings for our millwork that we needed for the dining room, living room and kitchen were very useful. Becky was our designer for an extensive house reno including kitchen, family room, 3 bathrooms and foyer. Becky has a clear passion for her work which brought a positive energy and confidence to our project. Her approach is professional and thoughtful. Throughout our reno, Becky ensured our design choices stayed on track towards our final vision and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Becky was a pleasure to work with. She has a great sense of design and understanding of colours. She was great at understanding exactly what we wanted and was flexible to match with what were asking for. Most of all she was kind and intelligent and a joy to work with throughout the whole experience.

We undertook a total house renovation, inside and out. I don’t think we would have survived it without Becky! We had a good idea of the style we wanted, but my husband and I could never seem to agree on any one thing in our initial planning. Once we had Becky on our team though, things really came together. She listened to what we wanted and helped find unique finishes for us (including visiting a container filled with raw timbers to hand-select a piece that would become our live edge vanity). She suggested things that neither my husband nor I would have picked and they wound up being perfect. After the project was done, we had this amazing house that truly reflected who we are. And getting a few awards for it was kind of nice too. Becky was responsive, practical, cheerful and so much fun to work with. If I ever thought about doing a renovation again, I would not do it unless I had Becky to help. I would recommend Becky whole heartedly!!

Becky was our designer for our complete home renovation. She was professional and prepared for our meetings and was a delight to work with. Her attention to detail and her creativity were second to none. She was attentive and thoughtful from start to finish and was able to truly design a space that reflected out styles and personalities.

Becky's attention to detail is impeccable. She was easily able to hear and see the vision we had, and then provide ways to make it happen, while also bringing to our attention the pros, cons, and challenges associated with different ideas. Becky is obviously very knowledgeable in her field and is able to make awesome suggestions--things we wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Meetings were enjoyable and productive, and Becky is always more than prepared with renderings, design options to discuss, and samples. As someone who struggles to visualize, Becky was sensitive to that and made the process easier by providing me lots of images. As a contractor and builder, my husband particularly appreciates Becky's comprehension of the building process and her ability to provide accurate drawings. Even during the early stages of construction, Becky was able to point out potential challenges and help provide solutions. The process was enjoyable and the end result is amazing.
