We are a subcontractor for Bath Express, overall in every single remodeling we have delays on different stages of the project, but working as a team with the owners of Bath Express we turned this project that could have been a disaster, into a very happy customer with a stunning full bathroom remodeling, we look forward working together and totally recommend their products, management and final product.

I'm not the best photographer, so my before and after shots don't do the finished work justice. From start to finish, working with Jamie Denman to turn my crappy 1980s-era tiny bathrooms into clean, modern, easy-to-clean space, was a very smooth and completely satisfying experience. Jamie was very patient with me and provided gentle guidance - I felt as if I made all of the decisions but she kept me on track without pushing. Her suggestions made perfect sense and she only tweaked things to make my original ideas work. I mentioned patience because, on more than one occasion, I changed my mind about some elements. I am very happy with the results. My Bath Express crew members, Terry and Amir, were very pleasant, professional and respectful, worked quickly and left behind a spotless space. Jamie told me the work would be done in two weeks and they did meet the deadline. I had two small bathrooms redone. I thought the price was a bit steep for me, but research showed that for what I wanted, the price was in line with what's to be expected in the DC area. I love my new bathrooms. I still smile every time I look at them. It feels like a new house.

I had been putting off remodeling our master bath, because I did not have the time to do the legwork (e.g. pick out tile, coordinate vanity and fixtures, etc.). I had remodeled a smaller bath about a year ago, and it took me months to get to the point of starting work. Plus, this bath is quite a bit larger, and I needed design help. Over the years I had seen advertisements for BathExpress, but from the name I had the misconception they were a quick low-end outfit. This past fall I got a glossy postcard advertisement, and after checking out the website, I gave them a call. Jim McCoy, the president of BathExpress and The Kitchen Guild, patiently answered all of my questions. I went to the showroom and found a large inventory of high quality tile and vanities. Since everything was in the same location, it was easy to match floor and wall tile, choose a coordinating vanity style, finish, top, etc. I saved so much time and energy not running around from store to store. Plus, Jim came up with a great design I had not considered. He gave us several design choices. We ended up choosing the most expensive, but the actual price came in under his original estimate. On the day they started work, Jim came to the house to ensure all the plans were set. Most of the work was done by Jose. Each day he took care to protect the hardwood floors and carpet, and he left our house spotless. The plumber, Danny, did excellent work. The people from Dulles Glass were a pleasure to deal with, and the shower enclosure is a work of art. Throughout, Mary Jo from BathExpress checked in to make sure things were going smoothly. My highest accolades are for Jim. He made sure each part of the job was done to perfection. He cares about his clients, and will make sure you are satisfied. BathExpress has the best customer service of any company I have ever death with. They finished on time, and even a little under budget from the original estimate. If I had known how easy it would be to get my bath remodeled, I would have done it much sooner. Also, while in the showroom I drooled over picture of kitchens they have remodeled. The Kitchen Guild would be the first place I would go for a kitchen remodel, too.

I am completely satisfied with my renovated bathroom. Mary Jo and Jim even provided extra planning time because the original decorator had left the company. Amir, the carpenter, was amazing. He was on time and extremely considerate of my schedule. He took great care to enclose his work area, so that the dust was mostly contained. Perfection was his goal. The work took a bit longer than expected because of design issues in my condo, but the outcome was excellent. Everything was done in a friendly manner and in a way that was designed to ensure that I was a happy customer. I would recommend BathExpress without reservation.

We chose BathExpress to remodel our master bathroom. Armed only with a floor plan (both current and proposed), BathExpress provided a very convenient process for selecting details in tile, fixtures, vanity, etc. All of the options were on display in their showroom, and selecting all of our options, and getting the initial estimate, took about 90 minutes. There were some inaccuracies with the initial estimate, and the final price was about 10 percent higher. I believe it took three attempts to get the final estimate, but the price was still well within our budget. Our carpenter and his assistant, were very friendly, and gave us detailed progress of their work each day. They kept somewhat random hours, but were not a disruption to our schedule, and we remain very happy with the results. There were two spots of collateral damage outside the bathroom (one wall, and the ceiling beneath). The drywall was repaired, but it's left to us to repaint the surfaces.

Bath Express provided a pre-selected range of high quality options from which we could choose our specific vanities, fixtures, floor tiles, etc. It eliminated our sense of being overwhelmed by the seemingly infinite number of choices that can make remodeling so stressful. This was especially important as we re-modeled two bath rooms! In addition, their employees do all of the work, from pulling out old fixtures to installing new ones, including plumbing and electrical work. This meant we avoided the uncertainty that comes with hiring independent contractors. The price quoted included all materials and labor – no surprises! The designer listened to our needs regarding functionality, as well as our preferences in decorating style. She patiently helped us select just the right options for each bathroom and we are thrilled with the results. The installer was a consummate professional, talking us through the process, and consulting us on decisions where our preferences (placement of mirror, sconces, towel racks, etc.) would make a difference. He was completely reliable, telling us when he would be arriving each day and showing up on time. He was careful of our home and cleaned up at the end of each workday. We simply couldn’t have been more pleased with Bath Express, and have already recommended them to friends.

BathExpress has done two jobs for me: the master bathroom and the kitchen (as the "Kitchen Guild"). Both jobs included design, demolition, and installation. In both instances Jessica Mole was the designer, and she then monitored the progress of each job. Each job involved new flooring, counter tops and tile work, major new appliances, and all electrical and plumbing work. Each job was finished on time to my complete satisfaction. The workers were knowledgeable, skilled, and professional in their attention to detail. When finished, they left the site completely clean. I intend to use this company for another bathroom job in the future.

We had the master and 2nd upstairs bathrooms of our 25+ year old house remodeled by BathExpress and we could not be happier! Being of a "certain age" and having no desire to ever leave our home, we wanted to be sure that our master bathroom, particularly, would be safe and comfortable. The planning process was easier than we expected, thanks to Jim & Mary J. Pricing was fair, and the installation was done very, very professionally. The installation crew was top notch and did a great clean-up when the job was finished. We would most certainly recommend BathExpress for anyone seeking a quality bathroom remodeling project. We could not be happier!

It was a first rate experience from beginning to end. I would certainly recommend them to anyone remodeling their bathroom. Not only is our bathroom beautiful, the installers and designers are friendly and helpful. They did the entire bathroom in five days- exactly as they told us. The suggestions of ideas to make our bathroom safe is comforting to myself and my husband.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Jessica Mole guided me through the whole experience and worked with me when I wanted to buy tiles and a toliet outside their system. She has a great sense of design which helped a great deal. The workmanship of the plumber and especially the tiler who also coordinated the project were exceptional--very respectful of time and clean up each day. They were also excellent craftsmen in each of their special areas.

This was a bathroom remodel. Wonderful, quality work and products with a beautiful finshed bathroom all done in a timely manner. Special care was taken to be minimally disruptive in our home. Pleasant people from the sales staff to the workmen. Yes, it was moderately expensive but in line with other estimates and I believe you get what you pay for. I would definitely use this company again. Anyone thinking about a bathroom remodel should definitely consider using Bath Express.
