“I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.”

SHe ran things the way I wanted them run rather than by her game and I don't think you get that all the time. She was present when needed, but not over the top and got involved only as needed on the project. She is great with your family and trying to help you understand what you will need. She thinks through alot of the problems and best ideas. I thought I knew it all and she made me know that she is very competent but respectful of my indivduality.
