“We interviewed 4 designers for a complete redesign of our kitchen and chose Tom of TRS Designs ~ best decision we made! We liked his extremely low design fee with no commitment to purchase cabinets [but with the option that the design fee would be applied to any cabinet purchase if we bought through him]. For such a major undertaking, this made it a ‘no-brainer’ to at least see what he would design. Early in the design process, Tom’s vast experience was obvious and we knew we wanted him to design our dream kitchen. We were able to discuss many ideas with him and get an honest response from him…not ‘what he thought we wanted to hear’. His honesty and respect for our opinions AND our budget were the keys to our success . Tom never pressured us on a timeline or forced his ideas. Rather, he gave us the Pros and Cons on any questions we had which enabled US to make the right decisions and stay within our budget. The contractors for the cabinets, plumbing and granite were equally good. The finished product looks great! We would definitely use them again.”
