“The Hursthouse team patiently spent many hours developing a detailed and extensive renovation plan for our entire property. Major features of the plan included: --installing a brick paver driveway bordered by a snapcut limestone retaining wall --installing bluestone front entry walk and porch --rebuilding backyard bluestone patio and new courtyard area with water fountain and cast iron fence border --extensive landscape lighting both front and back --installing imported planter urns on pedestals --extensive tree & shrub planting, perennials & ground cover. The design added great value and enhanced our enjoyment of our property in ways we never anticipated. The entire Hursthouse team took great pride in their work and went to great lengths to make us very satisfied clients.”

“Heffernan Landscape Design designed and installed a garden and patio after gut-rehab and addition built to my home. The architecture of my home, my needs, wish list and my abilitiy as a gardner were taken into account when the garden was designed. A large patio with seating, greenspace, herb garden, and shade trees was installed. Excellent work with beautiful results. Courteous crew left the area spotless.”

“We hired Nicole for three landscape projects. The first one was to reimagine our front yard. She did such a fantastic job that we asked her to landscape our back yard and add a sidewalk, grill patio and dining patio. Always, her vision surpassed our highest expectations. Finally, we talked about adding a visual barrier to our backyard neighbors. Nicole suggested a berm with evergreens, shrubs and stones. She filled in with new plants and plants split from our existing landscaping. The result is stunning. Nicole works with a first rate landscape company. I can't imagine using anyone else. Not all plants survive the installation and Nicole understands this. Consequently, she makes certain to replace the plants that don't make it. We are thrilled with Nicole's work as a landscape artist. Our property looks amazing. We highly recommend Nicole Ann Landscapes with enthusiasm and without reservation.”

“John and the K&D crew re-landscaped 3 sides of our house. We are very pleased with the work they did. John's plans showed imagination & originality that we have not seen elsewhere. This was the first time that we had work done (our 8th residence over 40 years), that did not require us to oversee anything! The professionalism was astounding! If we were present, it was because we were interested in the process. And the only questions to address were changes regarding availability of plantings, etc. The K&D workers were courteous and neat. A pleasure to work with and our compliments to everyone at K&D!”

“Anne & her team designed and installed front-yard landscaping for us, including adding a stone walkway. The shrubs & trees in our yard were overgrown and the house looked dated. The other landscapers we considered offered plans that followed the shape & design ideas of the existing landscaping. They essentially proposed pulling the old shrubs and replacing them with new ones of the same or a similar type. And the plants suggested we ones that are widely available at Lowes or Home Depot. In contrast, Anne pointed out specific reasons that the landscaping looked dated and uninviting, and proposed ways to fix it. She used primarily native plants, but many I'd never seen, so the plantings stand out among our neighbors. The plants are colorful year-round and low-maintence. She was able to locate a specific type of tree we'd requested (one we'd had & loved at our last house); the other two landscapers told us that they could not find any specimens. On top of all that, Anne's pricing was ultimately comparable to the other proposals we received. We receive compliments all the time & cannot recommend Anne highly enough.”

“We hired Bruss Landscaping after we bought our home as the landscaping needed a complete overhaul. We met with Tillie and what a breath of fresh air. She was the only landscaper that we met with who asked what we had in mind and what our budget was. She then took those ideas and worked within our budget as well as came back with some great ideas of her own. The project went flawlessly and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our landscaping in the front and back looks fantastic and really adds value to our home. We will definitely use them again for our next project.”
