“Following the recommendation of a friend, I hired Stephanie Wondolleck and her design firm, SW Design, for a much-needed and long-delayed landscaping project for the front of our home in Marin County, California. Stephanie was very good at figuring out what we would like (given our tastes and cost constraints), even though we were not very sure what we wanted. She did everything she said she would do, including using only deer-resistant plants and bringing the project in on budget and on-time. Meeting the deadlines required careful coordination of various contractors, at which she was very adept. Stephanie is professional, creative, thoughtful--and a pleasure to work with. We would (will) happily and confidently hire her and SW Design again.”

“We worked with Alan (Village Landscape Architecture) to help us with a large corner lot front yard after removing all of our lawn. We wanted drought tolerant plantings that would be a benefit to wildlife, but didn't know where to start. We asked Alan to deliver a plan, in the form of drawings, that we could implement ourselves. Alan was easy to communicate with and listened carefully to our parameters. Beyond recommending the placement and varieties of plants, Alan drew a plan that also incorporated an inviting addition to our walkway entrance. We loved his creative additions of hardscape which tied back to our love of Mother Nature's natural landscape. We still love the design today - 4 years later. Alan was easy to work with, a good listener, and provided the deliverable on time. I highly recommend him.”

“After moving into a new (for us) house, we hired Darren to come up with a Master Plan for our landscaping which would be compatible with our house renovation plans. He was precise and methodical in his approach and after several discussions and plan iterations we had a Master Plan we will be able to use going forward. We knew we couldn't do everything at once, so it's nice to have guidelines for what we can do now and know they will fit in as projects are completed.”

“The work done by Patrick and his team at Equinox Landscape brightens every single day of my life. I love the design, almost entirely suggested by Patrick. I love the quality of the materials and the wokrmanship. We had to modify the project a couple of times while in progress: costs went up too fast once we realized how hard it was to do any digging into the hillside. I also realized I wanted more of a finished look in one area than I had previously indicated. A drought set in and I became concerned about water rationing making it impossible to keep all the projected trees alive. A bobcat attacked my chickens and I changed the design for the coop. So it was an adventure, and in the end there were many changes. The end result though, makes me smile every day. Please work closely with the team to make sure the cost does not go over budget, but keep in mind that this is not just about how everything looks, but also how meaningful it is to you in the end.”

“Yardzen is the company that we all have to ask ourselves..."wait why didn't this exist before?!" This is an absolutely genius company, and we couldn't have had a better experience working with the Yardzen team to design the backyard of our dreams. We started working with Yardzen in June of this year, and even in the midst of Covid, with everyone on the planet wanting to update their homes and backyards, the Yardzen team didn't miss a beat and completely delivered beyond our expectations! I truly can't say enough good things about this company and the team. I would challenge anyone to see if you can get a better product for your money! We tried working with local landscape architects and got quoted anywhere from $3,000-$20,000 to design what Yardzen designed for us for LESS THAN $1,000!!! If you are thinking about engaging with Yardzen, don't think twice. And, icing on the cake, Adam who is one of the owners, is a gem of a human being and treats his customers like gold.”
