“Zach Berger Associates has ben designing and maintaining the landscaping of our property for the last several years. He has developed plans, modified them with our input, and then purchased, installed, and supervised each project. The grounds around our house have been transformed. Zach is an artist and he hires only the best people to work out the details. Zach created rock walls and steps that not only stabilized erosion on one side of our home, but provide an elegant transition from the front to the back yards. He hired a master craftsman to build a rock wall along the front entry of the house that is natural and truly lovely, and progress continued on this wall even in the midst of one of the snowiest winters in a decade. Zach hires people who get the job done and take pride in their work. One of the things I've appreciated the most is Zach's maintenance of our property. He anticipates what we might need and schedules work for each season that we can't manage ourselves. He comes out to personally check on the property and has a wonderful relationship with the people he hires. I can trust his judgment on plantings, on the design, and on the execution of his vision. I give him my highest recommendation.”

“We would highly recommend Ginkgo's design team for anything from a small garden redesign to a large, full landscape structural design which included rock, walkways, ponds, fountains, trees and gardens - they can do it all. Perhaps the real strength of Ginkgo Design lies in their breath of abilities coupled with a real skill for listening to the client's tastes, needs and vision. Easy to work with and reasonable rates... honesty, I can't find one reason why you shouldn't give them a call.”

“After our first winter and spring in our new home, which found us older folks barely able to get to our house safely over an icy parking area some distance away, and then so bogged down in mud that one car had to be abandoned for two weeks when the mud reached mid-way up its hub caps, we were desperate for design help to relocate the the parking area to a safer, more accessible location that would still be attractive. In a one hour consultation Lizabeth was able to appreciate the challenges of our situation and advise how best to proceed. The result has been fantastic! We now have parking right next to our house and we had a totally mud-free parking area this spring; in addition, not only did we not sacrifice the aesthetics, but the changes in elevation have provided us with a new and much more attractive view of our house from the side.”

“Cindy created a landscape that exceeded all our goals. We hired her early in the planning process for our retirement home so she could collaborate with our architect. Using her extensive knowledge of native plants, her design expertise, and excellent relationships with local contractors, she created the perfect setting for our house. We wanted to blur the lines between inside and outside, frame the near, middle and distant views, and create a sense of harmony and serenity. Cindy incorporated natural elements, and chose plantings for their year-round color, shapes and textures. We recommend her highly as a professional who will listen and can fulfill your dreams.”

“Baptiste was a true pleasure to work with! The utmost professional. I appreciate that he combines his expertise with stonework/landscaping, with his creativity and skills as an artist. He took our idea of a simple walkway, and provided us with a product that was beyond our expectations. Baptiste’s estimate was also right on par with others of the same caliber. When we decided to "enhance" our plan, we truly appreciated that he worked with us, and our budget, to make practical changes that helped cut costs. He even ended up coming in under his estimate. Baptiste’s communication was superb as well. He kept us in the loop the entire process, from scheduling the estimate, coming back to finalize, and throughout the creation of a beautiful new walkway and landscaping. He didn’t miss a beat. Despite some less than desirable weather (mud season!), Baptiste got the job done quicker than we anticipated, leaving a clean work site, and beautiful master piece for us to enjoy for many years to come.
