McCumber Fine Gardens is a full service local landscape company in Santa Fe. From landscape design, garden maintenance, landscape irrigation install and hardscaping - one would we well served by McCumber Fine Gardens. We have worked with Kendall and her team for about two years on our home and have the highest regards for them. Kendall helped us modify an existing blah garden into one that was peaceful and dog friendly as well as having a lot of visual interest in terms of plants and pots that were placed in the garden. Kendall also designs/creates beautiful plant baskets that are both vibrant and appropriate for the NM climate. It was always a joy to see our regular garden maintenance crew at our place. They know what they are doing and are very knowledgeable about the plants, maintenance and irrigation systems. Most importantly, they care about the well-being of the gardens they maintain. We knew that our gardens was always in good hands. We highly recommend McCumber Fine Gardens!

I recently had McCumber Fine Gardens complete an extensive Landscape of my very patio and surrounding grounds. Andrew and his entire crew did an outstanding, job. The quality of the work was exceptional. I have completed a number of Landscape projects in the pass and this crew was by far the best I have ever had living and working in my back yard for an extended period of time. Since 2000, McCumber Fine Gardens has been helping us with our landscaping needs for 2 homes in Santa Fe. Over the years, they have provided outstanding landscape design, installation, irrigation, garden maintenance and stone work. Their landscaping company is very thoughtful in working with xeric design, water harvesting and organic gardens specific to Santa Fe's high desert climate.

We purchased a remodeled home in the historic district in early 2015. Although the house had been completely rebuilt there was virtually no landscaping. We interviewed several landscaping firms including two that were landscape architects. We noticed the McCumber landscaping signs on the median on Paseo de Peralta and were impressed with McCumber's work. We checked with some neighbors who were familiar with McCumber's work and called the firm. Kendall McCumber responded quickly and arranged to meet with us to review our landscaping ideas as well as a review of the property. In short order she developed a plan and again met with us to review her ideas. Together we modified the plan and determined the cost. The other firms did not respond quickly or not at all although they promised to do so. We agreed to McCumber's proposal and determined a start date. The work commenced on schedule and proceeded at a good pace. McCumber has her own crew and does not rely on sub-contracted labor and material. Some of the other firms do not. The crew was very respectful of our property and the occupants (us). They were also respectful of the neighbors starting at 8:00 AM and shutting down at 4PM daily. They worked only during the week and not on weekends. Kendall visited the project often to check on the progress and discuss with us any concerns or changes we were contemplating. Her supervisor Andrew was on site almost daily. The quality of the stone work (walls and flagstone) and the plant material is excellent. We are extremely pleased with Kendall's response time, follow-up on the progress of the project, and the quality of the work and highly recommend the firm to those seeking an excellent Landscaping company

Kendall and her crew did an excellent job in cleaning up our garden and preparing for replanting this spring. She asked good questions, provided some very helpful ideas, and did as much as could be done in the fall. Her crew was outstanding, thorough and thoughtful, asking additional questions to insure that we were all on the same page. I look forward to her team completing the project in the spring.
