“We found Transfigurations Landscaping while searching on NextDoor, and it was such a fortunate find. Our backyard was so uneven, with deep divets, and areas where water would collect. We also had a dense amount of moss under a very shaded area of our yard. We wanted create a more level area for our kids swingset, and level and fill areas of the yard for aesthetics, but also to prevent injury playing in the yard and allow better water drainage. We also wanted to have a more dense grassy lawn throughout our yard, including the shaded area - which is notoriously difficult to grow grass. Kevin has really come through! Working with the owner, Kevin, directly has been more than a pleasure. He has not only been reliable and professional, but he has been truthful, a wealth of knowledge to us, and has gone above and beyond to ensure that he not only finishes the job, but finishes the job well! It is clear that he takes great pride in his work. We feel that his prices are very fair. Jeff, his assistants Dave & Terry, & the entire Outdoor Concepts team were diligent, hard-working and wished to please our every desire for the look we were trying to achieve. Jeff takes his clients on :"field trips" as he calls them, to various nurseries, stone works, etc. looking for JUST THE RIGHT PRODUCTS for the client's project. Our terrace & its plantings were so perfect that we have re-engaged Jeff & his company for our current project, with MAJOR changes to our entire backyard beyond the above-mentioned terrace. Jeff & his assistant have spent HOURS with us looking at books, photos, Houzz ideas, etc. to "put together" exactly the walls, water feature, gardens, paths, logia, that we want for our backyard paradise. Jeff is fair, professional, HONEST, and an excellent LISTENER when meeting with his clients. We are truly blessed to have found him! The project was started in July 2013 and will be complete the summer of 2014.”

“Last summer, we built a significant addition onto our home which caused major disturbances to the surrounding landscape. Having previously worked in the landscape/tree business, I planned to chip away at the project when time/money allowed. My wife was worried that if I handled the job, it would likely take months or even years to complete (as much as it pains me to admit it, she was right). We had heard great things about Ironwood Landscaping from a number of friends who had used them in the past, so we decided to have them evaluate our site. The scope of the project was significant, due to severe drainage issues and the amount of ground that had been disturbed during construction. We weren't exactly sure how to approach the site, but told Ironwood that we wanted a "natural" look. The plan that they came up with was stunning, with a dry creek bed, rock outcroppings, beds, trees, and two lengthy flagstone walkways. We were initially taken aback by the cost estimate, but based on discussions with Bruce, and lengthy conversations with several of his customers, we gave him the go-ahead. Needless to say, it was the single best decision we made throughout the course of our addition project. If I had had it my way, we would have cut all sorts of corners on the landscaping to save money, which I realize now would have been a huge mistake. Bruce and his guys worked like madmen, crappy weather and all, and transformed our yard in a way that vastly exceeded our expectations. The grading, stonework, plantings, and finish work were exceptional. All the facets of the job, tied flawlessly together and absolutely had the "natural", yet polished look we were after. Within a month of them finishing up the job, you would have been hard-pressed to realize that the site had previously looked like an artillery bombing range. It has now been six months since Bruce and his crew were here, and honestly, it looks as though the addition and landscaping have been in place for decades. We couldn't be happier with the work Ironwood did for us and plan to have them back this spring to fill in the existing landscape with more trees, shrubs and perennials. The only mistake we made was not going a little bigger from the get-go! This is an outstanding company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family or friends. We spent a significant chunk of change on the landscaping, but I can honestly say that it was worth every penny and then-some.”
